Me & my wife always use this pub when we go to Quins games, the staff are very helpful & friendly I would recommend it. My wife is a coeliac so she can't have any food with gluten in it, the staff do their best but there's not really a lot for her to eat, they always take time to go through the menu with her but she normally ends up with just a plain burger with coleslaw & salad, apart from that fantastic pub

This pub is absolutely cracking. Great atmosphere, food and drink and the music is spot on. I use this pub all the time for when I watch England play. Would recommend to anyone.

I was in The George twice and both of them were okay! Their burger was delicious, service was okay and finally oh I could drink Heineken! Watched a football game and it was joyful.

İki defa bulunduğum mekanın hamburgeri lezzetliydi. Büyükçe bir barı bulunan mekan bir çok içkiyi de barındırıyor. Fena mekan değil.

Yet another pub called The George that I really like. There's a pattern emerging here: perhaps I should set myself a challenge to review every place called 'The George' in London?

This particular George is a large pub with lots of seating, and a big outdoor area with plenty more. There's also an additional bar outside, which is a pretty cool feature - particularly during the summer. What makes this pub really great, though, is the atmosphere on the days that there have been big rugby games on. I once went here after seeing a game myself, and it acted as a nice segue between the stadium and the rest of the night. There's a DJ there every Friday and Saturday night, and on sports days, the music starts early and finishes late. It tends to get packed, and everyone crams into the little dance floor to enjoy some beer-fueled dancing to classic tracks. This is always a really good laugh!

Speaking of drinks, I think the prices are raised on rugby nights to make the most of the busy crowds, but are generally average. The food is fantastically priced, and I recommend their beef and ale pie, which is incredibly rich and comes to under £6. The menu has the option to switch your chips to sweet potato fries - go for it, they're really tasty.

George's restaurant in Twickenham is really good. The staff are helpful and the food is delicious. The place looks nice and is comfortable, perfect for any kind of get-together. Even though it's a bit pricey, it's worth it because you get excellent food and service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Decent bog standard chain pub. Better than Spoons, not quite as good as an independent pub. Bacon burger simple and nice. Good selection on tap, good garden area, great staff.

Just dropped in for a couple of alcohol-free beers on my way somewhere else. The place was virtually empty, and pretty soulless. I recall this pub from 10-15 years ago, and in those days it used to be packed, and had an amazing vibe. Maybe I just visited at a quiet time. I have to say, though, that the service was excellent, and the sole member of staff there was very pleasant and efficient. There's not a huge selection for non-drinkers, but I certainly recommend the Lucky Saint 0.5% abv. Most refreshing!

Bar staff very friendly, great pub to watch football both inside or out in the garden. No deals on drinks which is a shame but other than that is probably the best pub in Twickenham

Watched the women's football world Cup final here, the first round was on the house 🏠 which was a fantastic gesture by the George, shame the game didn't live up to this.

It was my first time at the George which is ridiculous considering I've lived here for years. It was a Sunday Jam night and i was treated to superb blues playing. The food was amazing and even more so considering it was a Sunday, when most pubs would not even consider opening the kitchen. The beer was excellent too. I will become a regular Sunday goer. One of the best pubs in the area and I know as I've tried them all. Friendly and cosy with lovely people in front of and behind the bar.

My favourite pub of all time. The food is just amazing and never disappoints. The pub had a bad reputation a few years back but I really think this is the friendliest pub in the neighbourhood today. The staff are well mannered and always smiley. One man in particular, Tom, he made me feel so welcome. What a delightful young man.

Had such a great time at this pub when I visited a friend in the area! A member of staff named Tj really stuck out running round after everyone with such quick service yet making sure to spare time to make us laugh while keeping a smile on his face, I couldn’t have been happier! Would definitely come here again if I’m in the area

I love this pub so much! Electric atmosphere and delicious drinks. Oliver Reed once said, "you meet a better class of person in pubs", and this particularly applies to a bar assistant named Tom. He really assisted me and my friends well. All staff are lovely.
