we always seem to begin our day here when heading to twickenham to watch the rugby. They usually put on a BBQ etc and make the most of the events. It's a good pub and not to far from the stadium. Does get quite busy on match days though!

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating, it is lovely to walk into a place like that. We had a birthday party for my partner and they all helped to set up the area. The atmosphere is brilliant. They have huge screens for the sport which is a plus. I couldn't recommend this pub more if you fancy good service and a relaxed sit down with drinks and friends πŸ˜€

This is my local pub and I love it. Perfect spot to stop for a drink and also watch some sports.

Great local and food is really good value plus the bonus of being 5 mins from where I live.

Nice simple place. I was service well, however, as a first time customer, the bar man could have greeted me with a smile (he didn't πŸ™„). He got my order right, however on close inspection of the glass he gave my companion it was very dirty, lots of water stains, that was very dark. I wanted to take it back for a fresh one 😩, she said no. Thank goodness for the paper straw. My glass was much better than hers.

A quintessential British pub which I absolutely loved visiting! Yummy drinks and delicious food. A lovely atmosphere too. I hope to visit again next time I am in the UK

Called in after the Depeche Mode gig for a beer, WOW, what a pub. Absolutely bloody amazing, a genuine old school pub that knows its stuff. Hats off, your staff are truly a credit to you & the DJ, well..... I'm surprised your floor boards survived the dancing. An incredible night at your incredible pub with your incredible staff, thank you 😊

Popped in here after seeing my friend in the local care home. What an amazing find! Although it was busy, it was peaceful, quiet, and people were acting respectfully. I’d forgotten that pubs can be this way. The young lady who served me (Honey) was lovely. I had a burger and chips – really enjoyed it, and the Guinness was first class. I live down the road in Twickenham, but this pub knocks the spots off all of them. Friendly, warm, good service, nice food, and reasonable prices. What more could you want? Give it a go.

Nice pub. Lots going on. Live sports on the TV but drowned out by Juke box. Live music on a Saturday night was good.

Have enjoyed a fabulous Sunday roast here & the venue holds great, regular events like gigs, karaoke and the Admiral Nelson Open Mics, on the first & third Tuesdays, from 7pm (pictured).
