Whilst in the area we popped in for a quick lunch. We were not disappointed. Large menu provides a full range of Ukrainian dishes to choose from. My husband had pork cutlets whilst I had the chicken salad. Both dishes were very tasty and filling. Good choice of Ukrainian beer, wine and other drinks too. Thankyou. @MyBucketListAt60

Very good selection of food served in sizeable portions. The borscht was especially nice and hearty. Highy recommended! For a 6th star, have some Kyiv cake ready for dessert ;)

Wandered into here for some food inbetween looking at flats in the area. Really enjoyed our meal, portions are large and reasonably priced, the food is authentic and served with a smile. Would happily come back just for the Borscht alone.

A tasty Ukrainian in Twickenham The word prosperity has many meanings – success, wealth, comfort, well-being – and this restaurant truly lives up to its name. Prosperity Restaurant in 59 York St, Twickenham TW1 3LP, is just a few minutes away from Twickenham railway station, making it a very convenient place to get to. Its rustic looking frontage reminds you of past visits to Ukraine and its homely welcome puts you at ease as soon as you walk in. The décor by any accounts looks traditional and the food is unbelievably tasty. I was on a tight deadline, so did not have the opportunity to sample all three courses, but being a cold day, I opted for a warm bowl of borscht. This dish packed a real punch, was full of healthy ingredients, not just the red stuff, but various pulses and plenty of meat. The rye bread and other slices of goodness quickly filled me up. The manager and barman Roman was very attentive and gave me and my wife Anna a five-star service, while the owner and head chef Galina was busy getting to work on our dishes, Before we tackled the borscht, we decided on a herbal, and Roman asked us if we fancied a rose petal tea. It was something neither of us had ever tasted, and he could only offer us one cup. We said ‘yes’ and after some investigating in the pantry, he came back beaming – he’d found extra supplies and we both got the chance to sample this brew – which tasted extraordinary. Having grown up on varenyky (Ukrainian dumplings) with cheese and potato filling, this was what we had in mind for our shared main course. However, Roman tempted us to try something different – and being adventurous we were glad to assist. A plate of warm varenyky with a filling of strawberries landed on our table and it would be safe to say that this plate was so clean when we finished, that there was no need to put it in the dishwasher. With change from a £20 note on our bill at the end for both of us, I would not have been needed to do the dishes anyway. For those who have not experienced Ukrainian food, this is a perfect place to start and you will not be disappointed. However, for those who want to try something else, its varied menu has everything from Greek Salad to Polish-style chitterlings and Chicken Shish Kebab served with potatoes and salad. Prosperity is cosy but can still seat many – they recently had a party of 120 – which also filled out their downstairs area which includes space for musicians. For those partial to alcohol, its bar has Ukrainian Obolon beers and Georgian, Moldovan and French wines, plus many healthy fruit juices. How did we hear of this restaurant? An actor friend of mine who is starring in a production I am putting on happened to pass it by on the street and waded in with our poster which they kindly put on their noticeboard. How would I rate it? Probably one of the best Ukrainian restaurants in London.

Do yourself a favor and visit Prosperity. This is my favorite restaurant in Twickenham. The food is absolutely amazing - everything we tasted melted in our mouths. We ordered borscht (beetroot soup), it is absolutely delicious , generous portions and great prices. I highly recommend it! The food is always fantastic, and no matter what I order, I'm always delighted with the food! Now they have started serving English breakfasts (sausages are so tasty and juicy). I can't wait for the quarantine to end and come back here and enjoy the food and the atmosphere there.

One of my favourite restaurants! 5 of August I celebrated my birthday and invited my friends from different countries. They was impressed of wonderful atmosphere, Ukrainian food, music, dances, and specially hospitality of owners Galina and Alex. Now they are asking when we will visit " Prosperity" again 😂😂😂 Thank you, Galina and Alex, for giving me and my guests a great time! ❤️❤️

We spend a great evening with my husband there, great food and very nice service. We had Kiev chicken and Duck accompanied by a bottle of dry red Georgian wine, and it was delicious. We finished with empty plates and bottle and very reasonable bill to pay. The place is cosy and warm.

Lovely family Ukrainian restaurant / cafe. The chef is really friendly and actually very talented. The food is delicious, amazing and authentic. You can request to take away. They speak English, Ukrainian & Russian. The prices are affordable. The restaurant is authentically decorated with ornaments from Ukraine. If you want to have a private party there is a private restaurant area in the basement. They have a garden terrace perfect for outdoor eating. You can even buy regional spirits and beer. It's just like being in Ukraine. Perfect place for romantic dinners and families. Relaxed enough for you and a few friends to spend time together 😃

I just ordered tonight from these guys via Deliveroo. Food arrived really quickly, ingredients were hot and fresh - and the pancakes to absolutely die for! Especially the apple ones, highly recommend them! Loved the fact they came with some berries on the side and everything carefully packed. Usually when I order from Deliveroo, restaurants don't care at all and just throw the food in there, hoping no one will notice - not the case with these guys. Loved everything about my food! Will order again!
