Great food and tasty coffee BUT flat white is way too milky taking away from the coffee flavour. Ask for an extra shot if you want it to taste like coffee rather than warm milk

One of the more popular coffee shops in this part of town is Harris and Hoole. Two points in its favour is that is kid friendly and dog friendly. And the coffee is not bad either! I visit regularly, always preferring their cappuccino over any of the other high street coffee shops. However, their food is not much to write home about, muffins are very okay, tried the blueberry and the other sour cherry, both very low on taste. Banana slice cake was not very good as well. No skinny options if you don't really fancy an indulgent treat. I also tried the piri piri humus wrap, but found it lacking, not big enough nor packed with flavour. And of course as vegetarians, just the two odd choices.
However, if its only coffee you need, its the place for you. But if you want a bit of peace and quiet, make sure you carry your headphones as shouting kids and crying babies will not really let you do your thing. They are slightly higher priced than other shops, but then you get a free coffee after every 6 cups rather than the 9 in other shops.

Lovely wee coffee shop, with good coffee to boot! Had a lovely time whiling away a few hours, sipping coffee and sorting some life stuff out. Spiffing

Place was OK, staff were good and delivered our order to the table, but let's just say I've had better Cappuccinos; the coffee wasn't strong enough. The cup was lovely and full though!

Great place for a coffee and sit down to have a good chat with friends. The place was very well sanitised and clean, which definitely added to the positive experience.

Loved the coffee and cake that we had here along with the efficient service and great decor revealing the store's historic past.

This is easily the best place for coffee in Twickenham! I visit all the time and the team are always lovely and coffee is great!

Lovely community atmosphere. Popped in for some hot beverages during lunchtime, and there was a performance by live jazz quartet. Just what you need to break up the day. Would definitely visit again.

One of my favourites coffees. Great staff too. Fine the place a bit cold sometimes but apart from that all is great.

Have been Harris and Hoole customer since I moved to Twickenham and I have been loyal for 8 years, must say that first year was the best one as staff was there amazing, for four years amazing, interior and exterior of H+H was great that time then past couple of years. And customer service a bit decline but coffee never disappointed. Today and yesterday I have ordered "Amazing Honeycomb flat white". Lady who served me was really nice and made me very nice americano, so I could say that espresso was top notch :) and great flat white milk too ! Keep up in these hard days !!!

Pleasant environment for a coffee shop - ex butchers shop so has interesting glazed tiles. long black very good. good selection of cakes and pastries, but not very many (may run out by late morning). Not fast service like a H&H in Central London, more relaxed atmosphere. Nice comfy sofas, as well as more traditional tables. I particularly like the nice solid glazed crockery, makes the coffee taste nicer. Often full of families and young babies. And dogs

Harris and Hoole is a great addition to the vast selection of coffee chains we now have, and it certainly rivals them. The coffee tastes great, served in big, rustic cups, with a generous food selection available if you fancy a bite. Offered in a relaxed, and comfortable interior, with retro furniture and lighting. There's even an area for children to play in whilst the parents grab a much needed coffee. It's worth mentioning that the toilets were kept very clean also.

Sometimes, artisan coffee shops (H&H included) can be a bit too "just so" and I normally prefer the matter-of-factness of main chain outlet; but I really like this Twickenham branch. The staff is friendly but also very efficient. I find myself coming in more and more often. Well done!

Harris and Hoole seems to be consistently making the best coffee in all the locations I've been to so far. This one is no exception. They have great teas and decent cakes as well, but what's outstanding is the coffee.

Good coffee and excellent selection of food/snacks. Service always very friendly. The whole place feels like it could do with some money spending on it e.g new furniture. All the furniture feels a little dirty/stained.

One of the best coffee in Twickenham/Richmond area. Always nice staff. Great loyalty app. Perfect location. But sometimes bit dirty - that’s why 4 stars only.
