The Sussex Arms - Twickenham - Photo album

I got there solo a little late on a day Harlequins were playing. Easily found a table (bench) for myself and ordered a Roast Lamb Dinner and a pint. Service was quick and the food was nice but a bit on the cool side. Not liking nuked food I did not request reheating and enjoyed the dinner
All in all, a good place for lunch. The Sunday roasts looked amazing, but this burger knocked it out of the park full of flavour and deliciousness.
The Sussex Arms is a pub near the Twickenham Green. It is well known for it's large and pleasant back garden. It has a large selection of beers, ciders and wines. It has a good kitchen and an extensive menu. Sunday roasts are especially well done. We returned this Sunday to enjoy the leg of lamb
The best place to eat steak or pork ribs. Bar tenders too are very polite and very helpful. I am looking forward to coming back to this place soon.
Booked table on line for match day, outstanding selection of Ales, Beers and Cider both on tap, cask, and cans/bottles. Food was a touch expensive but good quality, nice atmosphere and highly recommended.
More cask ale than you could ever need, all kept in good condition. Selection of Big Smoke Brewery beers alongside guests from far and wide. Heritage interior, garden to front and rear. Full food menu available - the Sunday roasts looked huge, and were hugely popular!
Proper pub, great atmosphere as there was Six Nations on in the pub. Food was excellent, I had steak pie and I'd definitely recommend it washed down with Harvey's Sussex Bitter that to was a cracking pint.
Had a really enjoy evening here. Amazing rang of ale and guys behind the bar were helpful with their suggestions on what to try. The food was good, I had their big burger with bacon and it was very tasty. Hug out door dining area with a playground to to keep the kids entertained. I will be back next
This pub had alluded me for no reason other than I've just not been arsed to walk to Twickenham. It's an area I'd typically try and avoid any given weekend due to the outpouring of Jean and Sheux, Land Rovers and gilet wearing family entourages spoiling any opportunity for a quiet pint. So, hit it
Excellent traditional Sunday roast at a lovely traditional pub. The Scotch egg starter made with haggis was exquisite. The mains of beef and lamb were cooked to tender perfection along with fresh crisp veg. The best parsnips & Yorkshire pudding I have ever tasted! Best customer service I have come a
We went here for lunch on a Saturday. The staff were all young girls who seemed grumpy and unhelpful. I got fish, chips, and mushy peas. The fish had bones in it, which made it unpleasant to eat. I was constantly picking bones out of my mouth. My wife enjoyed her burger and chips. I liked the o
Popped in to meet a friend. We had some snacks and 3 pints. Food was ok, although I've never had deep fried Gyoza before. Atmosphere is always nice and the service was excellent
Best beer pub in the borough and a wonderful place for a session. Not a fan of their garden however as it attracts over indulgent young parents and their totally out of control children.
Best pub in Twickenham Huge range of bitters and ciders with good food. The pies are the best I have ever eaten. There's a huge garden with a cover over it. My only criticism is that the ordering app was not up to date and my first beer took 20 minutes to arrive. The staff are very busy but very goo
Enormous beer garden out back, and their play area caters for families with small kids. Went on a Sunday and had their 2 person roast to share. Enjoyed this immensely
