Best Italian in Twickenham. Well worth a visit, in a different league when compared with nearby italian eateries pizza express and zizzi, even if you have a voucher for them.
The food is fresh, homemade, tasty generous portions, reasonably priced and the staff are friendly.
Would def go again.
Awesome local rustic Italian. Great pizza and pasta freshly made. Really disappointing to see people queueing for Pizza Express or Zizzi's when this treat is one block away.
One of Twickenham's great Italian places, which there are many. I went here with a friend and his family. The first thing you notice is the setting, there is all sorts of interesting trinkets inside creating a great atmosphere. It's quite small so you get great service and the food was great as well. You can always tell an authentic Italian restaurant because during summer, they close for month to go back to Italy for holidays. If you are looking for an authentic Italian dining experience you can't go wrong here.
Highly recommend for authentic Italian place! Great cozy, genuine family atmosphere to enjoy pizza with a glass of red wine. The chef/owner will give you special treatment and meet all of your desires. The bartender-waiter is delightful and polite, good addition to your pleasant dinner experience any time of the week!
Definitely the best pizza around Twickenham. I've been several times now with my partner and friends, both dining in and have collected takeaway, we keep coming back! Lovely staff and really nice place to eat - good little wine and drink selection.
In the 22 years since I first visited, Caffè del Mare just gets better and better and better. Delicious food with a warm welcome - a home away from home.

Just had the most fantastic birthday dinner at my favourite restaurant. Thank you to Rosa and Dominico for creating a marvellous welcome, the best food and letting us take over the whole place. Everyone went home very happy.

It is currently (10 Feb 2021) open for takeaway on Friday and Saturday evenings. Still the best pizza in town.
Fantastic food in a quaint authentic atmosphere. Last minute booking for 8 but Don was brilliant. Menu a little light on choice but between us we had every starter and most of the main course dishes. All cooked perfectly and all were delicious.

Owners are so friendly & happy to chat. A quite special place to stop off and have a bite to eat. Pasta & pizza were delicious, quiet & relaxed atmosphere all added to the occasion.
Lovely people. Best thin crust pizza. Great dough. Spectacular pasta with tiny tomatoes and prawns. Hand written everything. Charming.
A fantastic, really unpretentious Italian restaurant. Proof that good food doesn't need to be complicated. Small but perfectly balanced fixed menu prior to Rugby Premiership Final. Apparently the a la Carter menu is superb too.

Caffe del Mare is a real hidden gem in the heart of Twickenham. Incredibile Italian food - 200% quality guaranteed!!! This family-run business has a unique charm and cosiness and a delightful service. A must whenever you may find yourself in the area!
Absolutely great authentic Italian restaurant. The food is awesome and the owners are a friendly couple who create a real family friendly atmosphere. Great place to take young kids - they make a real fuss of our young daughter.

Stumbled across this gem by accident with my husband celebrating our anniversary. Took a quick look at the menu and decided to return later that evening for dinner.
We shared a napoli pizza - the chef decided to make our pizza in a heart shape which was adorable! - and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Both were lip-smackingly delicious. I was pleased the dessert was perfectly light and choclatey without being sickly sweet.
Staff are so lovely. Lovely atmosphere, authentic, reasonably priced Italian food. Can't wait to go back.
excellent staff and food, very welcoming and a great atmosphere I have tried many other places but this still remains one of the best authentic Italian restaurants around , would highly recommend.
