We had a lovely family lunch here on Sunday and I was so impressed with how friendly the staff were and how welcoming they were to baby Orrin, 19 months old. He was given an activity pack with crayons which he loved. I would thoroughly recommend the fish and chip shop platter which was delicious. Cherry pie good too. Relaxing atmosphere.

Great beer served by happy staff. On rugby match days there are always enough to serve you quick. Forget the Barmy Arms, it's the Eel Pie for me every time!!!!! 5*

Great pub. Excellent service, food, atmosphere and beer. We even got to listen to a Rod Stewart doppelgänger rock out bangers all night. Keep doing what you're doing! Hope to visit again from New Zealand one day 👌🏼

Great Pub. super atmosphere, very full and loud on game days but that's to be expected. Good food and decent pricing make it worth a visit if you should find yourself in Twickers.

Visited during a NFL trip to Twickenham and found this gem a little off the beaten track. Nicely laid out, pleasant staff, good beer (at reasonable prices for London) and decent food - will definitely return.

Thanks for a delicious lunch and excellent service this afternoon. Zippy the dog was also impressed at how much attention he got and how spoilt he was, the doggy ice cream went down very well too!

Spent a lovely afternoon here to send off a retired colleague. Staff were really helpful, courteous and welcoming. We started with the lamb kofte skewers with raita, mint and pomegranate molasses and bbq glazed chicken wings to share. Lovely flavours! For mains we had their chicken and ham hock pie with buttery mash, gravy, savoy cabbage, peas and bacon. My colleague had a chargrilled flat iron steak with grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, lemon and tarragon butter, watercress and fries. Excellent stuff. All the food arrived at the same time. Their food was amazing quality, tasty, inspiring, fresh and plentiful, service was wonderful, wish it was my local! Highly recommended!

Themed after the famous '60s music venue on Eel Pie Island nearby (although it's not there any more), this pub is chock-full of music memorabilia - it's a great place for music lovers of a certain age to have a pint - and there is a nice selection of real ales for the connoisseurs. The food isn't bad, either - certainly much better than the Barmy Arms just a bit further up; the steak and ale pie had a shortcrust base and puff pastry top - very tasty. The mashed potato seemed like it might have been made from a packet (as it is in a lot of pubs, unfortunately). The red cabbage made a nice vegetable side. A little pot of gravy on the side was quickly drained. Overall, was it worth £15? I've had a lot better, but it was a good evening out, I'll give it that.

The staff booked us a great table by a screen and window to watch the rugby. It was super hot so they cooled our glasses down with cold water before pouring our beers. Shame about the rugby result but we will return soon 😄

Friendly and nice stuff, nice selection of food and beers. Seems to be a locals favorite. Visited here with friends, we all ate, most of us enjoyed it. I wouldn't go for the burger again, it was a bit over cooked, the falafel can also be better. They have plenty of beers, as well as local ones that are fresh and good. The stuff is very friendly and the place was almost completely full so I guess it's one of the best around.

A good sized pub with a decent drinks selection. I've tried a selection of the bar snacks and also had a main meal here, and all have been very tasty. Always seems to be quite busy, so sometimes we struggle to get a seat.

We loved this pub. It is quirky, cool, as well as welcoming and cosy. It's located in the heart of Twickenham high street, and offers great service. We just had drinks but definitely we are returning for food soon.

A great Twickenham institution situated on Church Street, lined with boutique establishments from Brewery markets to Italian delicatessen and sweet shop. A fine setting. The pub itself is special, welcoming and friendly with a large presence of canine (very well behaved) locals. Staff are superb and most helpful. A super place to go for any of the wide range of both cask and keg ales on offer. There are loads of Sunday roasts coming out of the kitchen, all looking very fine. A great place to visit, recommended!

The Eel Pie has it all really - outdoor drinkinging in a car free street full of boutique shops, more outdoor drinking in a quiet courtyard. In between there's a contemporary pub with loads of music memorabilia. The beers are from Badger brewery so good real ale. Great place.

On a Wednesday, all hamburgers are £10.95 so we decided to lunch there after doing a bit of shopping. John, the splendid manager, was on duty luckily, and we had the pleasure of being served by him. Washed down with a fine bottle of Chablis, I had the Double Cheeseburger while Mary had the battered fish burger, both absolutely delicious. We love this pub anyway, and visit quite often, but now we have a further reason to be tempted in on a Wednesday.

A group of 6 locals went here on a Tuesday night around 7pm, got a table big enough for us easily enough and enjoyed a few drinks. Met the landlord, nice guy. The staff behind the bar were nice & talkative, a lot different to rugby days 😅

Consistently good food and friendly service. We had a lovely time. I would recommend getting the triple cooked chips if you get a chance - they’re lovely and crunchy!

We just stopped for a soft drink. We would recommend to bartenders to have an equal attentiveness to arrival customer, waiting to order their drink.

A really great pub to come to for a meal or just a drink. Welcomed to the neighborhood by the staff. Very friendly and great customer service. Food was outstanding! My steak was grilled perfectly and my partners fish was crisp and light. Vert decent portions. Did not walk away hungry. Will definitely be back to sample more of the menu!

Entirely based on pre-rugby and post-rugby drinking experiences, great pub! Bar staff is very on top of it and professional with the crowds on those days. Couldn't give them any more credit.
