What a lovely meal we had!! The best tasting meal ive had out in a very long time. Tried new foods we've never had before an really enjoyed it. Lovely place and happy friendly staff. Will be returning very soon xx

Summer is faltering a bit here in London but it’s still warm; certainly warm enough to not want to wander further afield than lovely Church Street in Twickenham – full of restaurants, a couple of pubs, craft and gift shops – to find somewhere to eat. With Antonio in town, it seemed a good plan to go to one of its two Italian restaurants and we plumped for Masaniello – a ristorante Napoletana. It’s run by Livio, head chef and joint owner whose family runs a pizzeria in downtown Naples, and Maria Lucia. The restaurant opened in 2009 and although I’ve looked in a number of times when passing, last night was my first visit.
This is a really outstanding restaurant and having dined their regularly I can say that it is consistently good. Great chef, nice girls, and very reasonable prices, Masaniello is highly recommended.
Great Food. Popped in for lunch and had a great meal the special was lamb shanks and was well worth it. Excellent food delivered viua great service.

I have been a regular of Masaniello for many years, since Livio started the changes to the menu cooking the food from from his native Naples. Livio is interested in food (which is not necessarily compulsory in a restauranteur) and the menu changes regularly based on season, ingredients and Livio's interests. The cooking is authentic regional Italian trattoria food.
The wait staff have always been friendly and attentive.
Livio has steadily improved the building and in February he re-roofed the back dining room fixing the leak an increasing the light and airy ambience of the room.
I like this place and Livio and I consider it the default place to eat in the neighbourhood. It make Twickenham a better place to live

They buy fish from the well-known and respected Sandys fishmonger in Twickenham, vegetables from Covent Garden Market, meat from Puntrello Italian family butcher and all dried meats, cheeses and groceries come from Italy. ‘We do our best to give you a real Italian experience,’ they say.

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 8 years. It was originally a breakfast café that offered limited lunch and dinner dishes as well. Owned by 2 Italian brothers, my ex and I used to come here and watch the Italian football league on the telly whilst eating dinner. Over the years a lot has changed.
One brother has now moved back to Italy and the remaining brother, Livio, has taken the place by the horns with the help of his wife Maria. The restaurant has had a facelift and the telly has gone. The place has a wonderful, homely Italian feel and the food is just fantastic. Livio heads the kitchen and it's clear to see his passion for cooking - everything is what you would find in a typical upmarket restaurant in Napoli.
I always have the fish of the day, bought fresh from the market that morning although I have tasted the other dishes on the menu. The base menu changes with the seasons and there are also daily specials. There is pasta for those who want it and the kids will love the pizzas, handmade and shaped into a bunny with ears, a xmas tree or whatever takes chef's imagination!
A very friendly restaurant, great for a romantic date or with the family. Very reasonably priced and a good wine list remembering to finish with a lovely glass of Limoncello, I'm going back next week :)
Had an exceptional dining experience at Masaniello. The Calzone was a delightful surprise, packed with flavors and perfectly baked to a golden finish. The other pizza, with its rich toppings and perfectly charred crust, was an absolute delight. Every bite showcased the authenticity of Italian flavors. Paired with a glass of red wine, the meal was an ode to traditional Italian craftsmanship. A must-visit for genuine Italian pizza aficionados🍕
Lovely Italian dining on Church Street, always busy so reservation is essential, a great traditional cuisine, pistachio ice cream is to die for!
Without a doubt, the best pizza I’ve ever had! Thank you to the fabulous staff at Masaniello for a lovely meal last Saturday evening. It’s one of the most authentic and homely Italian restaurant I’ve visited, and we will certainly be back when we’re in the area.
We had a quick lunch here and have to say pizza was delicious. Very tasty and nicely done. Thin and crispy dough, great and fresh ingredients. Staff was very helpful.
First time we've been here. Absolutely*loved* the pizza and pistachio tiramisu. Prices are decent and staff is friendly. Happy!
We recently had a great dinner here after hearing so many recommendations from local people . They are super friendly with kids. The quality of pizza and seafood dishes is 10/10. Amazing experience and definitely will be back !

Yea I’m a little bias but only as this is our regular lunch when we come up from Guildford to watch the mighty Quins - pizzas never fail to disappoint and team are always welcoming - if you can make sure I’m booked in for every home game through 2024 that would be great 👍🍕

We ordered nearly 60 pizzas from Masaniello in Twickenham for our wedding reception. They were all ready to go at the agreed time, including a couple of special pizzas for gluten-free diets. Everything was delicious and the food was a big hit with all our guests. Many thanks to Masaniello for helping us throw the ideal wedding party!
