Myself and some family went for dinner on Sunday. The staff were friendly and atmosphere pleasant. The food came out within a reasonable time and all of it was hot. There was an issue with a couple of roasts potatoes being bad inside but they quickly rectified this bringing some more to replace them
Took my husband today as a treat. Beautiful pub. Food amazing, best roast dinner I have ever had. Had the 2 loveliest of servers elle and Parker. Very welcoming and friendly. Elle went above and beyond. Thank you 😊 we will definitely be back.
We went here for Mother's Day brunch, there were four of us. We booked in advance which was very easy to do online.
There was plenty on the menu, I was really pleased to see a lot of Vegetarian options, I would love to try the pancakes in the future.

Had a lovely hour or two here with some friends. I got the squid and the Korean chicken strips (both as starters). Good size portions and with the price. All well cooked and delicious looking forward to going back when I'm next in the area.

Great ales and food. The Korean chicken main dish was good, especially the kimchi served with it. Would recommend dining and stay.
This is a lovely place to stay and a really nice location. We had a huge room with a big bath. Food is great, staff are wonderful. Tutbury itself is a lovely little village.
Really enjoyed our stay at the D&P. Had a lovely meal while social distancing. Staff very helpful and they had my favourite beers on. Room tidy and clean. Breakfast were very good, set you up for the day. Good weekend was had .
Stayed 1 night - bed slightly uncomfortable but have stayed before and will return again - hopefully in a different room!! Beautiful old building and well worth a visit. Staff very friendly.
Booked a table last minute, arrived early, no problem found the staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely and arrived in a timely manner. Ella who was waiting on our table is an asset to the D&P team. Ella you get 5 stars.
Very nice staff lovely place to eat we had a walk round the town then called in for lunch dont be put off by having to go in at a side entrance it must work better as you enter in to a large bar area and the the staff seat you food very nice 😀
Food was excellent, lots of choice on the menu including things you wouldn't normally see. Service was impeccable, we were served by Kim and Finn. Both were warm, friendly and very helpful. Both are a credit to the team. Highly recommend visiting.
