Our first trip to The Barn this morning - no better place to be on such a beautiful morning. Scrummy bacon roll, cake and coffee and Alf Pilbeam (dog) loved his plate of sausage! Highly recommend

Myself and one of my walking partners Ange walked from Marlow and back. The coffee and cake were a welcome treat. We were so impressed we are leading a group walk from Marlow to the barn this weekend. It came highly recommended, and did not disappoint.

Had a fab day out in Turville Heath - and fab food at the Barn! And even a Midsomer location tour by the owner of the barn. We'll be back soon!

This was our first time at the Barn. We walked from Stonor on New Year's Day with two dogs. We were amazed! The goulash was delicious and warmed us up but we are very glad to hear heating plans are in the pipeline. We all made steam when we talked! Please keep the Barn rustic and open to muddy walkers and cyclists! We will be back!

This is an excellent place. You have to book in advance and you are encouraged not to drive there but walk or cycle. The lovely thing is that the farm has been in the family for five generations and there were three generations working there when we visited. The produce is locally sourced. My son loved the car theme throughout the place.

We visited for the first time yesterday. It is a lovely spot for lunch, tucked away off the main road. The signs read that you need to pre-book, which we did. It was very 'oldy-worldy' with some quirky little highlights, perfect for its location. We had one of their homemade pizzas cooked on the pizza ovens (which sit on the back of pick up trucks) and we also tried the rich meat goulash which came with the fluffiest homemade bread rolls. We settled into the barn to eat, which was a good plan as the rain started to fall, the space was very traditional, and we were pleased to have some huge cups of tea to wrap our hands around too. * Dog friendly (they even make their own dog sausages which can be bought) * A large hot drink is large! * Homemade breads * Supporting local artisans (you can buy the handmade pottery) * Relaxed and informal

Eccentric barn with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating for walkers and cyclists. No road access. Booking is required - often even just for a casual takeaway coffee. Food is very good. Staff are friendly and helpful, but throughout is quite low. Toilets on site for customers were clean.

We walked from Turville on a 6 mile circular route that came past the Barn at Turville Heath after roughly half an hour of walking. I don't believe they have a carpark so you would need to be able to walk there. Dog friendly though! They advise on their website to book ahead although on the day we visited it wasn't busy so could have probably just turned up. I really liked the use of farm machinery (an old small square baler) as a counter and parts of an old landrover as a pizza oven and Morris 1000 traveller as a shelter for seating, I ordered a sausage and egg bap which came with a pattie style sausage and runny yoked egg. For me the sausage didn't have a huge amount of flavour (my personal preference is Cumberland sausage) however I appreciate the runny egg. My wife had the veggi and bean goulash which she really enjoyed. I liked the fact they had condiments in their original bottles as opposed to fiddly packets. Over all I enjoyed the experience including the walk which had a good variety of varied terrain, wildlife (both wild and captive deer) and mock Tudor mansions to gaup at. We will be back to try other things on the menu.

This is a wonderful find. The gluten free venison burger is so good that I ordered a second one (no gluten free is second best here - wow). The beef burger is perfect, home grown on the farm and full of flavour :-)) You won't regret a visit here it's atmosphere and food is a winning combo!

Great place to stop for a break whilst out cycling. Place is cafe in middle of nowhere so it doesn't work asking people to book - more likely than not that unexpected events (think train strikes and punctures) disrupt cyclists' best laid plans

We turned up having not booked, they were closed because of the weather, thunder and torrential rain. We sat at a sheltered table hoping nobody would mind. Within a minute or two a lady came out and we feared we were about to be scolded but she just asked whether we had booked. We said we hadn’t and she said she would ask the staff to get going. Someone came out to invite us in and my son went to get hot drinks as we had a picnic. I had the best mocha I have had for years, piping hot in a proper mug. Lovely people, lovely place, even though there is absolutely no competition nearby

Rustic, pre book only as they staff to demand. Not particularly comfortable but it's a great stop in middle of nowhere for a dog walk. Burger was excellent and nice range of local beers

We got a hartly welcome, although it was rather busy, so that already gave u a good feeling from the beginning. We sat outside, which was a nice view, and although it was busy staff did an extra effort to bring us the food at our table. The misses had only a soup, kids a very good pizza with extra toppings and I had a very good vegeterian goulash. Not very big dishes, but on the other hand great quantity doesn't always mean great quality... You order in the barn, food is prepared outside in an adjecent covered area, everything very visible, nothing to hide (open kitchen). I had the impression they were working rather improvised, with the means and the help they could get, we found it very charming. I don't know if they always rely on the same people to help them out, but they all were very friendly and helpfull hardworking men and women. Very fair priced, you certainly get value for money. Bookings required, and since I was aware of this by my landlord from last year we booked very well in advance. When we are back in the region we'll certainly book again.

Such a nice location with lovely staff, amazing food and ceramics of dreams which are all locally made. The falafel burger was the best I've ever had and members of my group had the pheasant and venison burgers which were also delicious. Will be back for pizza and goulash!

Make sure you book! Popped in for lunch after a hike - great burger and soup and they also sell beer. If like us you've never wandered down the lane to investigate then it's well worth the stroll to The Barn.

Is this one of the best places to come in the area? Yes. Great coffee, cake and teas plus burgers and pizza ovens ❤️ You need to book in advance. Plenty of outdoor seating in one of the most beautiful areas with friendly staff.

Great for walkers & cyclists, or car park not so far away. Essential to book in advance or you may be disappointed. Great selection of cakes / locally sourced produce. My sausage (patty) bap was very tasty. Good Latte. Very reasonable prices.

I'm not sure I've ever been to a more picturesque place. Beautiful day (possibly too hot) but we had a nice walk from Turville to the barn and had booked for the barn. When we arrived it looked like a scene out of a western with horses tied up at the entrance. Food was great, chips were amazing (highlight, but the burger was good too) and the ice creams hit the spot on a warm day.
