Classy, upmarket Pub/Restaurant in the delightful village of Turvey. Terrific menu with specials & Sunday Roasts. Great service, pleasant ambience, all you could ask for when families gather. Drinks menu is also extensive , a wonderful venue for those special occasions.
Excellent Sunday roast here would definitely recommend it and we will be coming again! Service was good and the staff very friendly!
Fabulous lunch very welcoming staff and very tasteful decorated for Christmas, will definitely return!
First time visiting the area it was a beautiful place simply stunning . Food and hospitality 5* definitely visiting again
Wonderful welcoming staff. Very friendly. Very well kept pub .. spotless 👍👍
We had lunch here yesterday after a walk. I had a lovely roast and hubbie had the swordfish special, which he said was very good. His was washed down by a couple of very well kept pints. The star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding, which was very light and delicious. This is a great find - dog friendly too. We will hopefully be back next time we’re in the area.
I always enjoy my visits here, good service, dog friendly, good honest pub grub reasonably priced.
We stayed here Saturday 24th June after attending a family event locally during the day. We had the lovely Chequers room, we ate Saturday evening and the food was fabulous ...Camenburgh starter then the Pork Ribs and the Minted Lamb for main course could fit a sweet in though as we were full. The Breakfast Sunday morning was excellent
Fab food great hospitality loverly garden will be back very soon
Second time this month. Simply Excellent!
Staff were friendly and welcoming, very polite, reasonably priced and a great local for some as well. It was busy when we arrived but we were seated quickly and drinks also provided quickly. The food tastes amazing, the haddock and chips is delicious and the lamb rump is one of the best I have ever tasted.....we will definitely be back and highly recommended to friends and family...
The lady chef here is a Master Chef. All of her food is excellent.
Truly excellent..
The wine as usual is quite pricey for a pub when one considers all they do is open the bottle and tip a bit into a glass... Whereas the skills and effort that goes into the food is worth so much more...
I'm very happy to recommend The Three Cranes.
We have Sunday Lunch regularly and alternate between Roast Beef and Roast Pork. The food is well prepared and delicious as are some of the desserts, like the crumble with custard.
The service is excellent, a friendly and helpful staff, and the place has a very nice atmosphere. Good value for money.
Our table of 5 were celebrating my sons 50th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
The food was of high class worthy of a 5star award.
I will return!!
Brilliant friendly local village pub. The food is amazing and on par with any fancy restaurant in London, don’t be fooled by the word pub! Beers are always excellent, cold and served with a smile! the staff are polite and professional always! I’d recommend this establishment to anyone, for drinks, food or even quiz night (which I hear is very popular)
We had a most marvellous meal here at the Three Cranes in Turvey. Excellent staff, brilliant atmosphere (complete with a country music playlist in the background, someone clearly knew we were coming!) and the food is nothing short of phenomenal. The rest of the family had roasts, but I decided to go against the grain and order the cod special with clams, new potatoes and a lemon butter sauce. It tasted as divine as it sounds! 😋 my partner had the lamb cutlet, and it was just as amazing.
On the beverage side of things, they are a free house with a frequently changing selection of guest ales. Their gin selections are also delectable. There's 5 bedrooms available as well, should you need to make an overnight stay of it 🛌
Turvey officially has a jewel in the crown for pub dining. We'll be back before long 🐟🍽🍻🍗
The food was the highlight of our experience at the 3 cranes and at a reasonable price point. So many restaurants these days charge a lot of money to badly microwave pre- assembled average food. Not so at the 3 cranes. It was all in the details- the vegetables were perfectly cooked, the fish was tender, the potatoes were tasty and just right. The puddings appeared to be homemade which is a rarity and the local ice cream was superb.
Ten out of ten - keep up the good work guys!
Nice pub, the great combination of lovely architecture, good beers, food, and a great atmosphere.
I stayed here with family over the F1 Silverstone weekend and we couldn’t find fault with anything, accommodation was very clean and all that we could wish for
Food was exceptional especially as my daughter was a celiac and they had gluten free options with everything on the menu, breakfast was enormous set us up for a long day at the F1.
The staff and hosts were fantastic nothing was too much trouble even the local residents were great and friendly would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.
we have stayed at numerous 5star rated accommodations but this one ranks as one of the best
Our second visit in recent months but this time a Sunday. Roast Beef dinner was the best I’ve tasted in a very long time.
Roasted potatoes!! I was in heaven.
Book early, good value, great service.
