You can't do it if you are a wheelchair user or limited mobility due to having to go up the long spiral stone staircase.

A fascinating querky place with a delightful tearoom and shop. On the day we visited there was a craft fare taking place which gave us free access to the majority of the castle we allso took a walk through the woods up to the Delgatie fishery. Nice friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Free carpark.
An interesting castle to look around at your own pace, with interesting history and features, and nice notes in each room. The café is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Great visiting experience. The staff is very welcoming and courteous! I recommend the Lairds Kitchen food, especially the cullen skink! Family friendly and suggestive atmosphere. We will come back again. I recommend a visit!
Had never been, really enjoyed it. Very rustic, well worth a visit. Lots of paths for walks. Had lunch and it was very good at reasonable prices. Maybe in need of tiding up in places but it added to the rustic feeling. Glad we went.

We went for lunch last weekend and it was delicious as usual 😊 we got there just on noon and got a table no problem, however they do take reservations as the tea room is quite small and gets busy very quickly over lunchtime so if you were travelling from afar, might be better to phone and reserve.
An excellent place to visit, and have something to eat, Cullen Skink is a must try.

The woods have nice walking trails, the castle has a very nice cafe, prices range from £1.75 to £8.00. The soups of the day are made in batches, so the later in the afternoon the less likely to get any soup. Small shop for gifts also.
A Scottish castle which is full of character, most of the rooms are off the main tower, and you make your own way reading the notices in the rooms. There is a very good gift shop, and the lairds kitchen offers a comprehensive menu for lunch and afternoon tea.
