The restaurant has always had a good reputation but I always found it rather expensive. However I went along at the invite of a friend who told me they serve small plates on "Pensioner Friday" and I was delighted to get a decent size of meal at a very affordable price! The food was fresh and piping
We had a lovely meal here for our anniversary. Excellent choices for vegetarians; we had a vegetarian haggis in whisky sauce, and a sweet potato burger. It was all excellent- although I could definitely have eaten more fries! Staff were super too👍

Had lunch there last Sunday for the first time. The food was amazing and plenty of it. I went for the black pudding and haggis fritters for a starter followed by fish and chips.
