Great place. 3 of us stopped for a break mid cycle ride. We were made very welcome and had great tea and excellent cake but almost everyone else was having breakfast, which looked staggering. There is a lot of outdoor seating, which was good.

Best full English breakfast I've had anywhere in England in my 10+ years of regular visits/living here. Hands down best ingredients best preparation.
Hands down best breakfast I’ve ever had
Generally the food is really good quality well cooked traditional tea room grub. The food is locally sourced and the cream teas are to die for. The atmosphere is quiet and cosy if you avoid weekends, school holidays and times when there are big activities on e.g. Christmas and Halloween.

Not a huge selection of cakes but we had come quite late in the day and they seem to have had a busy morning.
Nice and clean as well with animals for kids to look at in the petting zoo !
I love my afternoon tea visits. Portions are huge and come with a fantastic price tag. Sandwiches are fresh and tasty. Cakes are incredible and it's so large I couldn't finish so took some home.

The second time we've been for lunch. Food is lovely, staff friendly and if you bring your dog there is seating outside that is covered so you can enjoy your meal. Food selection is great and they cater for changes. Looking forward to our next visit.
