Very good, Pub food . Polite friendly staff . Reasonable price Good selection of drinks. The reason it didn't get all 5 stars , it's Dog friendly , sorry dog lovers , but if you can't control the animal, stay away from Public eating places . At this point I should mention the evening was spent with
Although I haven't spent a night in the Bori for 20 years, I know this place is a lovely and cheap place to stay. Other than that The Boringdon Arms (Bori) is an amazing pub. Welcoming with a very good selection of food and drink. It's why it was a local pub I visited often throughout my life. I hav
We enjoyed a lovely roast here, late one Sunday afternoon about 3pm. The meat was a smaller portion, and that could have been due to the time we arrived for food. This mattered more to my husband. However, I was delighted with the eleventy million types of veg and quantity. Cauliflower cheese, carro
Only popped in for a drink. Very welcoming, staff efficient and quick even though busy. Toilets clean
Great staff and very good food. We will definitely be returning.
Different seating areas... bar, lounge, conservatory, beer patio/garden. Peaceful, simple and nice. Very good value food. After your visit... lovely views of yachts on the water and across the waters. Dog friendly but wasn't full of dogs. All good for a recluse location.
Great friendly atmosphere, lovely old pub. Great beers to choose from, great service.
Lovely food, lovely atmosphere, beautifully decorated and full of lovely local people.
Had the gammon steak and chocolate fudge cake, was pretty decent.
Stopped here for lunch while exploring Plymouth and were delighted with our meal! It is so reasonably priced, there is loads to choose from on the menu and the pub has a lovely, friendly atmosphere. I really enjoyed my food (chicken burger) which came with so many fries - amazing value and would def
Best pub this side of the water with excellent food and fine cask ales. Lovely atmosphere and they also have a few letting rooms too. Always my preferred place to stay when in the Plymouth area. Just a short walk to the passenger ferry too taking you to another fine pub on the Barbican which is not
A great pub for nice quiet drink, a great range of ales that I couldn't do in one sitting. This is my local and I love it. The customer service is amazing. This place is dog and cat friendly, as an animal lover I'm in my element. Animals, Alcohol and Good Food. What else do you need from a good pu
Great pub, good choice of beer and friendly staff!
A lovely local pub where we, party of seven, were well received by the friendly staff. We all enjoyed the food (the lamb shank - a special on the day - was finger licking great). Ampke parking was close by, even though the pub is well tucked away. One tip: order your dessert well on time.... my slic
Only went in for drinks after a walk, but the meals being served looked delicious. We will be back and will time our walk and eats a little better next time! Would also mention that it's good to see a pub serving Sharps beers (Atlantic and Sea Fury)
Excellent pub. Very good choice of ales. Has a nice shady garden to the rear. Good food at reasonable prices. The bar staff are friendly and helpful.
