Best pub this side of the water with excellent food and fine cask ales. Lovely atmosphere and they also have a few letting rooms too. Always my preferred place to stay when in the Plymouth area. Just a short walk to the passenger ferry too taking you to another fine pub on the Barbican which is not

This is my local and I love it. The customer service is amazing. This place is dog and cat friendly, as an animal lover I'm in my element.

A lovely local pub where we, party of seven, were well received by the friendly staff. We all enjoyed the food (the lamb shank - a special on the day - was finger licking great). Ampke parking was close by, even though the pub is well tucked away. One tip: order your dessert well on time.... my slic
Only went in for drinks after a walk, but the meals being served looked delicious. We will be back and will time our walk and eats a little better next time! Would also mention that it's good to see a pub serving Sharps beers (Atlantic and Sea Fury)
Excellent pub. Very good choice of ales. Has a nice shady garden to the rear. Good food at reasonable prices. The bar staff are friendly and helpful.

What a lovely pub went in for a drink after a walk from Yacht Haven Marina , The Manager was a nice friendly young Man .

Stayed for one night, great value for money in mid August. Friendly, helpful staff and nice food.
Nice view from the room if the water and good comfortable beds. Ordered fish and chips on the saturday evening while the pub was packed and everything was tasty and well presented.
