Im not a cyclist but my husband is, so seemed a perfect place to visit on his 40th birthday yesterday and we were not disappointed.
A big breakfast and a veggie breakfast plus two rounds of drinks, all amazing, definitely recommend the vegetarian sausage, the best ive eaten..
I think it was the owners who took time to chat with us so definitely the personal touch.
Thanks for a lovely morning xx
Great cafe and bike shop - this is a fab place for any bike lovers - fab paninni & coffee.Staff friendly and the new bike shop is worth a look although expensive.
Great place. These guys stock the whole Wattbike range, even the new Atom model. They are in fact the only place currently in the country that has a demo machine. Instantly served and made welcome. Staff highly informative. Great cafe and bike shop too.
This is more than just a pit stop for cyclists en route. Friendly staff served me the biggest and tastiest slab of Rocky Road I have ever seen and I've had some cake!! Will definitely visit again, possibly with the family for a bite to eat and a coffee!!
Brilliant stop for Cyclists. Great shop and cafe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
What an amazing cycling space, the food in the cafe is great, the staff are friendly and as it was pretty cold outside we did a static bike challenge on wattbike, even got to see the new Wattbike Atom which is packed full of technology, and is very easy to use.
Great place, great food, atmosphere is bang on, definitely worth a trip there.....👌🏻
Great little venue for a start/finish point with some great roads around and excellent food to finish off!
Absolutely fantastic set-up. We parked at Ventoux and cycled from there. Had food and drinks on our return. Fantastic panini's, quick service and even a cheeky prosecco & beer which was well deserved after our ride.
Love Cafe ventoux . And being form Leicestershire am very lucky to have this on my door step...... well it still is a 60 mile round trip 😂. Great coffee and awesome bacon sandwiches nice staff and great ambience.
Just an Idea to make it even better for cyclists would be some charging points for phones and garmin maybe with a small charge and lock boxes to prevent theft? Just a Thought?
Keep up the good work cafe ventoux .🖒🚴
Had a ride over this morning on our tandem in preparation for a LEJOG epic adventure in June. 1st time either of us had been and we arrived early, 45 mins before opening, but the staff were fantastic and welcoming. Invited us in and switched on the coffee machines for us. What a place. Food looked great and the shop was filled with a wide range of items, including lots of bling....
Looking forward to another long training ride so we can call in again.
Came here for our clubs (outcast cyclists) ride Sunday and loved the place. Great venue and top service
The only thing missing was summer
Cracking cycling pit stop, perfectly located off a beautiful cycling route for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink or two. There is a good menu of sandwiches with added fries an option. If you’re hungrier there are two and three course options. The food was served promptly and was very good. We sit on the balcony and thoroughly enjoyed the sun and views. There is also a giant store being built which will make this place pretty perfect for cycling.
Definitely recommend this place for breakfast/brunch or coffee & cake. There is gf bread available & milk alternatives. Service was very quick & friendly & the food was beautifully presented & very tasty - our whole group commented on it & had empty plates! Coffee was great too (even the decaf). Breakfast is able to be ordered up to 11.30am on a Sunday (when we visited) & then becomes Sunday lunch.
There is seating inside & out, although the outside seating didn't have any shade when we visited, so we opted to sit inside. The cafe decor is modern & has an interesting display on cycling. There is a single toilet inside the cafe (very clean), which has disability features, but I'm not sure if it would be large enough for a wheelchair user. Plenty of hardstanding parking with dedicated motorcycle parking on both sides of the car park entrance.
If going on a weekend, I would recommend booking a table or coming early, as it can get very busy. Lovely view of surrounding farmland while you eat. Definitely will be back!
I liked it a lot. Tasty food. Open sandwiches or main courses. Fresh roasts on a Sunday. Veggie options. Great service. Friendly people and atmosphere. East of Leicester off the A47.
Our first visit to cafe Ventoux. Really well set out giving you the option to sit outside on tables or couches or be inside. We arrived just before lunch and decided to wait for the Sunday lunch to start. It was well worth the wait. The starter was divine the picture shows the asparagus but the main course of beef was one of the best beef lunches I have had. My wife’s coronation quiche was just as good. What they do here is to be the very best in food. If you have not tried cafe Ventoux take a trip out you will love it. Oh and the breakfast still been served as we arrived looked just as special.
Joined an evening of live music and chilli. Food was amazing, both the standard and the veggie versions. Duet band ‘Leannan’ were great. Service was fantastic, location beautiful - highly recommend!
I had lunch at Cafe Ventoux today and the waitress misunderstood my order, brought out a cauliflower soup instead of the main I had asked for. I was offered the soup while I waited for the right order. I have to say, it was absolutely delicious, probably the best soup I had in a good while! The main was gorgeous too. Left well fed and happy!
Great ride out to the newly reopened Café Ventoux. Fantastic food and coffee ...can certainly recommend the Brioche bacon roll....delicious. Really big outdoor seating area as well for when it's warm(er).
Never been to Café Ventoux before, it's very nice. Lovely day for it, great coffee & beautiful setting.
Had a lovely run round Belton and finished in the cafe .
So what’s it like ?
The coffee was amazing and cakes .. well to nice .
The staff was very polite and helpful
The cafe was clean with almost every seat with lovely views . The perfect place to chill after a tad of exercise.
I would 100% go back again

Great pitstop on our cycling route. Comfy outdoor sitting area surrounding by peace, quietness and greenery. Very friendly service, awesome cider and nutella cheesecake to die for! 😍 Great selection of food on the menu. Surprisingly we were the only cyclists there on Saturday afternoon. Strong 5* and will definitely be back.
First visit - so enjoyable, lovely food (don't let the limited menu put you off, we just had three different choice - all excellent!) All in a gorgeous setting with great staff too, will be going back very soon.
Recently, I enjoyed a delightful breakfast meal at Café Ventoux, and the offerings left me thoroughly impressed.
The pancakes? Absolute perfection with their fluffy texture and impeccable pairing with side elements. The standout dishes, though, were the robust Full English breakfast and the impeccably seasoned Smashed Avocado. The café's warm ambiance, combined with the delectable dishes, turned our morning into an unforgettable experience. My two boys were over the moon, and even my typically discerning parents rated it as first-class. A special mention goes to the two female staff members who went above and beyond to make us feel exceptionally welcomed. If you're scouting for an elite breakfast or brunch spot, this is the place! 🥞🍳🥑🌟
10/10
Absolute gem in the beautiful countryside. We have been twice now, once for brunch and another for a live band evening.
Amazing owners, amazing staff and , amazing food (panko cauliflower with a katsu sauce ) was an favourite. Atmosphere is lovely. This is our favourite place to be.
Lovely cycling themed cafe just off the A47 at Tugby. Friendly staff, excellent coffee, breakfasts and cakes. Recently moved to larger premises next to the old one. Not as quirky and fun with the decor but still pleasing. Now also has a large outdoor patio area. I had a lovely lunch of the chicken and halloumi flatbread, and the creme brulee (pictured), again lovely service and delicious. Highly recommend even to non cyclists.
