Excellent restaurant, quality food delivered by attentive, warm staff. This is our favourite place to eat. Parking is easy and there's a large garden with tables if the weather is good. One of our party is gluten intolerant and we are always impressed by the wide range of items on the menu that they are happy to adapt accordingly. Service is always fast and we have never been disappointed.
Unsurprisingly, the venue is usually busy - book in advance!
Came today [22 Oct 17] with my mum and daughter to celebrate mum's 91st birthday. We were early but were greeted warmly and sat quickly, with consideration given to mum's mobility [steps etc pointed out clearly]. The service was quick and efficient, menus explained, drinks brought and orders taken with a smile and a friendly approach. The food came in god time, well presented, hot and served as requested {beef}. Plates were cleared within a very reasonable time after we finishe eating and orders taken for desserts which arrived, again, in good time. There was no quibble with changing my dessert slightly, I cannot eat banana so asked for vanilla icecream instead, and everything was tasty. The portion sizes were good, even mum, who has a small appetite, enjoyed hers so much she almost cleared her plate.
All in all, a very pleasant and enjoyable experience and I will certainly recommend you to friends. We look forward to returning in the not too distant future. Thank you
Had a delicious lunch, lots of flavour, good portion size and reasonably priced. The menu had lots of variety. Loved the small dessert and coffee....just what was needed.
The atmosphere was really lovely, the place was clean and all staff were welcoming and friendly.
A great location to have a walk before our meal. Will definitely be returning.
My boyfriend and I came here to eat tonight - we weren't kept waiting long, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing - I had the steak frites and boyf had the lamb with roasted veggies, cannot fault it. For dessert we shared the signature dessert - dark chocolate fondant, it was heaven on a plate and I urge everyone to try it. Will definitely be coming back to eat here in future �
We recently discovered this marvellous place and were delighted with the superb menu and the friendly, helpful staff. This is not a gastro pub - it serves dishes which you would expect from a very good restaurant. Top marks to the chef. It is dog friendly too which is a bonus. Can't wait to go back!
Went for evening dinner with friends, the staff were very friendly and the food was really lovely, would defiantly recommend and will be going again
A fantastic night, the perfect table settings made it so easy to talk to everyone. Great service, not rushed into ordering, but a close eye was kept by the waiter, who was ready when we were. The famous fresh bread, and garlic butter came, and went very quickly. We went straight for the main courses,which all came together. and were well presented, hot and very tasty. There was a good choice of desserts,and again excellent service throughout. A merry Christmas to Charles and all the staff.
Lovely food and so well prepared. The staff were friendly and patient with us, so at no point did we feel rushed. Super value for money.
Mother's Day treat at the The Tuddenham Fountain, lovely home cooked roast with no washing up!!!!. Excellent service. Definitely planning a return visit. Highly recommend .

The welcome we get is always lovely and the food is great .... sometimes the tables are a bit too close together but that wasn't an issue ....Theyvallowed a birthday cake as well which isn't always the case in some places ....

Had a lovely meal recently, hadn’t been before so wanted to try somewhere different .
It also has a lovely outdoor area which is great in the summer.
We had fish and chips and liver and bacon. Both very nice. Was just la shame the special of lamb shank had run out - sounded lovely.
The service provided by Sarah and the team was super too.
Jan 24- Claire was a lovely waitress. They looked after us early evening for a quick bite to eat.
Airy large space and friendly all over.
Shame we didn't stay for a full meal.

Very lovely pub. The staff is super friendly, I had the roast turkey , the meet was very tender and the vegetables were cooked very well. They have gluten and dairy free options.
Rare to find this gem . The staff are so friendly and relaxing. Wonderful atmosphere and dog friendly. The food was so moreish. A huge array of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, decent food menu for most diets. This is an amazing gem!! Just a smile and happy place to be.
Great country pub and garden. They are very dog friendly and even have a nice area indoors where you can sit with your dog and have a meal. The Sunday roast is top notch, good portions, well cooked, and great value.
The staff are friendly and the young waiting staff are super efficient. There's a lovely garden with a heated covered area where once a month they have live music. Oh, and a huge car park.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch with friends today. The staff were so attentive and despite it being very busy we felt well looked after.
The roasts were generous and delicious. A few of us had the coffee and pudding option for desert, which was a coffee and a taster version of the pudding, which was perfect for us and equally as delicious as the main.
A special mention to the Manager. She was very helpful and efficient. She was very engaging with the children in our party, making them laugh as she took our orders or served our food.
The atmosphere was cosy and festive. All the staff were helpful.
A great experience from start to finish. We’ll be going again!
Nice back garden, food is 10 out 10 would definitely recommend to friends and family. The staff all polite and kind. And to top it all the food is delicious..😋 👌

Update Mar’23. Called in for lunch again whilst out on a walk. The menus (breakfast/brunch and main) and food were excellent; for both choice and value. Everything we had was delicious. The service was very good and the atmosphere calm and relaxing. We will definitely return, the place is clearly in very capable hands.

Had lovely staff serving us , tried to order the special of sausage casserole, unfortunately they had just run out , however I went with my 2nd choice and it was very tasty . Had a great evening and we will definitely be going back again soon.
