We had a lovely dinner at bodega 18. Great selection of tapas and hard to pick a favourite. We loved the croquettas. The pigs cheeks were incredible and the Andalusian fried fish was delicious.
My wife found this place by luck and we are so happy she did. All our food was 10 out 10 every single dish was fabulous. I had the pig cheeks and I can honestly say I would go back tomorrow to have them again. I cannot recommend it enough.
Authentic Spanish tapas. Good choices including chorizo, prawns, calamari.
We had a lovely experience dining at Bodega 18. We ordered a lovely selection of the menu and were really impressed by the tapas portion size - we easily shared 7 dishes between 3 people and went away very full (and a doggy bag). The flavours were beautiful! Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive and the value for money was excellent.
We sat upstairs and it was very cosy and a nice place to be. 100% have to try this place out for a beautiful, social meal.
Lovely restaurant, great food and helpful staff. The food was so tasty and filling.
If you're there between 12 and 2 there's an offer fro 3 tapas for £15, great value. Couldn't quite fit everything on the table there was so much...
Could imagine it was even more cosy on an evening..
Next time! 😁
Food here was really nice, a little pricy but I think the trick is not to over order. Its easy to assume 3 plates wont be too filling as its tapas, but you would be wrong. Definitely had eyes bigger than my belly here and couldn’t finish some of the food. Great for sharing with friends and the staff were really helpful. Would definitely go back, but would order less food
Popped in for a quick lunch before my shift to be met with a wonderful atmosphere and even more wonderful service. The whole places smells absolutely dreamy with the different dishes and the food is wonderful.
Ordered the dipping bread; the balsamic glaze is clearly made in-kitchen and is so smooth with the bread, and the olives are proper Spanish olives with that wonderful signature flavour. Patatas bravas was even more astonishing, I love a good bit of sriracha and everything was seasoned thoroughly and authentically.
The vegan menu is a little limited but there are definitely enough options to pop in or bring someone to lunch, and if they’re anything like the food I had for lunch then there’s nothing to be worried about and plenty to enjoy!
Overall food, service and atmosphere was lovely, prices were fair and I look forward to eating here again.
As always, Bodega surpassed all expectations, and after our previous visits, expectations are high!!
Our food was superb but on this occasion it was the staff who were truly wonderful! From the moment I walked in, they were exceptional - thank you for a fantastic evening.
First time we've visited this tapas restaurant, but it certainly won't be the last! We booked an early table as we were going on to the theatre afterwards, but despite being early evening it was still busy - a good sign surely. Checked in by a very friendly and efficient young lady and shown our table. Placed our order of 5 tapas between us with an equally friendly young lady. The food was delivered promptly, but not too quick as to feel rushed, and was piping hot. We had bread and olives, and patatas bravas to start, with pig's cheek, lamb and fried aubergine in honey for mains. The pig's cheek deserves special mention - absolutely superb - the meat just fell apart and the gravy and mash enhanced it well.
Still had room for dessert of chocolate flan and bread and butter pudding, both of which were excellent.
So - 5 tapas, 2 desserts, 2 pints, 2 wines for £78 - excellent value.
Bodega was the last place we ate before lockdown and the first place we ate after lockdown and we have continued to patronise this friendly, laid back little restaurant every since. The food, wine and ambiance is fit for all occasions, whether a celebration or simply because your too tired to cook! There are staples on the menu, such as tortilla, but also seasonal variations which are always imaginative and never fail to please. Yesterday we tried the anchovies - very nice - but the highlight was the fried fish which was light as a feather, and beetroot with goat's cheese balls which finely balanced sweet earthy flavours with the sour and creamy goat's cheese. Perfect. All washed down the a very pleasant rosé. Do give Bodega a try, you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely delicious lunch. Particularly loved the aubergine with honey which was incredible and the potatoes bravas with truffle. Will definitely be back.
Second time here, the food is amazing, the service excellent, we were a table of 3 today and had the most amazing lunch, staff are friendly and welcoming, the food I can't fault, will be back again definitely
Really tasty food. Will be going back again. We had 7 dishes between two of us and that was a good amount.
Had a great time chatting and eating with friends. Food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful without getting in your face or interrupting our conversation.
Staffs are super nice and kind. Foods were good, especially tomato salad was unique.
Amazing Authentic but fashionable cuisine. Very creative and in a fantastic setting...Well done. Definitely returning and would recommend
Really tasty food, apart from the chicken dish, but the rest of the dishes were outstanding. Lovely staff and great decor
Gorgeous food and great service, reasonable prices especially considering the quality.
Amazing customer service, friendly, helpful and great tapas too. Aubergine and mushroom croquettes were high points room no hesitation recommending.
