If the chips are cooked all the way through, then it's my favourite in Truro. However, my last batch was brown and crispy on the outside and hard uncooked potato on the inside.
Hopefully, my next batch will be cooked chips, also great opening hours so can be extremely convenient.
The fish and chips..fantastic the only thing is we were coming back from up country and the amount of chips we had in the tray was very poor will try again next time we are in Truro and update. And no there was no chips under the fish
Just want to shout out the staff who were great with me tonight. Much needed after a long journey. Great food as well, very happy customer.
Nearly didn’t go here because of the score on here. Needs to be a 5. Stunning food and staff were lovely.

I visited this fish and chip shop on Sunday with a friend before going to the cathedral for Christmas service,we sat in to eat and both the chap cooking and the girl serving were lovely,very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us,prices are reasonable and the meals were lovely and thoroughly enjoyed,I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning whenever I am in truro x
Great fish and chips, the only problem I have, is that when I get them home, I never end up with batter on my fish, because it's wrapped it in paper and the batter sticks to the paper with the remainder sticking to the chips. The answer could you not place another polystyrene tray over the fish, before wrapping in paper, so that it does not stick. Threw my fish away tonight because of it. Chips always nice thou.
Really enjoy the fish and chips from here. They're not really greasy like you find at some chip shops and the batter on the fish is lovely and crispy.
Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but I think it's worth it.
Having the car park right across the road is also really convenient.
