Lovely evening for my birthday. Our waitress was so attentive lovely girl whom realised it was my birthday and put a candle in my dessert, so thoughtful thankyou didnt catch her name but she was lovely. Great food as always xx

I had an absolutely marvelous experience at Pizza Express last night, all thanks to the remarkably attentive manager (ginger for reference) and the exceptional waitstaff (blonde and brunettes). Their impeccable service elevated the evening to something truly extraordinary, perfectly complementing the delectable cuisine. I am eagerly anticipating my next visit!
A regular date night spot. Always lovely and friendly staff. Very accommodating with our baby's pram. Service is fantastic, food was amazing as always. Even when full during lunch service they never faulter in their hospitality. Can't fault it. Highly recommend

A faultless experience, our waiter was friendly and welcoming, checked on us mid way through our meal and was happy to help us when using the Pizza express app. We had 2 drinks, a starter, side and 2 main meals. The discounts using the app allowed our meal to come to an amazing £34 for 2 people. The food was all excellent, my Calzone was cooked perfectly throughout and my partners Pollo Pesto was at its usual high standard which she always orders. We will be returning!

A typical Pizza Express nestled awkwardly within a fantastic old building.
The food was of course as expected tasty, fast enough but not so you felt rushed and reasonably priced. The service was attentive and polite.
The dairy and gluten free kids pizza was among the tastiest we have found, so top marks for that. The BBQ burnt ends was top notch, not too spicy but with enough heat.
The toilet is out the back of the restaurant across a shared hall so you needed a pin to enter it. A bit contrived but the best they could do I suppose. Had the toilet not felt like a 1980's British Rail platform toilet it'd be 5 stars.
IMHO you can't beat a pizza express pizza. They are always consistently good whichever restaurant you go to. Staff very friendly and nice.

Pizza express in Truro is set in a beautiful old building in the center of town. The service was very attentive but not overly so and all three of our meals were well presented. I would highly recommend this venue.

Good sized branch of the chain, unusually located in a beautiful old building right in the centre of Truro. As you'd expect from a Pizza Express, reliably good if unspectacular food, served by enthusiastic and friendly staff.
We had a lovely family meal here in the heart of the city of Truro. We were party of 7 people but they rearranged the tables for us which was very kind. The service was efficient, polite and kind too. Would have given 5 stars had it not been for the high prices but that's to be expected I guess with the current sharp rises in food. Can thoroughly recommend this Pizza Express though! You'll really enjoy it, especially the chocolate brownies! mmm!
Typical Pizza Express. The service was a little slow, there was little atmosphere but it was early evening. The pizza was one of the best I've ever had.

So what is not to like?
We had the Christmas menu, was very nice, don't get carried Away with they snowballs the doppio. Was way too much! The pizzas weren't my personal favourite, felt the topping was more rocket than anything else. The staff however fantastic, couldn't fault them!!
Pizza Express in Truro is placed just in the middle of high street at an amazing historical building. Staff is friendly and food is good. You can park on the streets at night or weekends easly. Prices are moderate, inside atmosphere is quite good.
As a chain you know what you're getting. Good selection. Plus gluten free if you need.
