Went here last night as a table of 6 to celebrate my anniversary. The service was outstanding, lovely attentive South African Waitress, top service. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, portion sizes were just right & lovely and hot. My first visit to Ask but won't be my last.
For excellent pizzas and a very attentive service, as well as lovely prosecco this is a great place to go. Waitress also asked our party if we needed vegan menus, which we did! I was a tad sad to find out the lemonade was no longer SFV.. but there is another vegan dessert on the menu ..onwards and upwards!
The food was hot, and very tasty. The staff member was very helpful and polite, and did really well to keep up with the growing room of customers.
I rarely give restaurants five stars but the food was so good. I decided to go for the King Prawn tagliatelle which is a pretty generic menu item found at most Italian restaurants. I can honestly say this was the best one I have ever eaten. I finished off with a tiramisu which was so light, I could have eaten another one! Fantastic. Friendly staff, highly recommended.
This was our first time visiting ASK Italian and it was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was WOW! And we can't wait to go again.
This restaurant is in a great location and serves good food. Being a bit old fashioned, I think some of the staff are scruffy and can't tell who works there and who are guests. Being shown to the table is rushed, no gap between starter and main, it feels like you're being rushed so you get out to make space for next customer. Our waitress was very good but very busy.
Starter was good, main was small but tasty.
Over £60 for 2 of us so not too bad.
We will return but not first choice of restaurant.
Fantastic restaurant, has to be my favourite, service and food is always fabulous, highly recommended by myself and my family.
We had a lovely family meal and all enjoyed our food very much. Two of us are gluten free and dairy free and one is dairy free. We had plenty of choice and the food was delicious, we loved the gf pizza bases, best we have had eating out. Service was great apart from obvious staff shortage and a mix up with the order - but staff dealt with this very well.
Great service. Food pretty good but not exciting. Shame you have to book on automatic system as would have liked to ask for a good table and let them know it was a special occasion.
Was a popular theatre night, so restaurant was very busy. I had pre-booked our table & the online service was great with follow-up reminder texts. Service was fast. Staff really busy. Food was good but 4 stars as quite small portions for the price.
Excellent, friendly, efficient and professional management and staff. Helpfully gave menu advice and checked our party were all happy with the meal and service. Well Done to the team in Truro.

Lovely restaurant we we’re guided to seats friend was with some needed support starters came quite quickly wheats the main took a little longer the waiters were rushed off their feet.
The mains was garlic butter 🧈 pasta parcels the portions was just right delicious.
We ate here for the first time and loved it. Genuine Italian restaurant. Food great and if we lived here we would be frequent diners. They asked if we had any allergies before we ordered and that is so important. We don't as a matter of fact but some of our family do
The choice of food, the food itself, the friendly service, and surroundings were all excellent; my wife and I enjoyed our meals very much. Constructive criticism is that it is slightly overpriced, I think, but then you'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere that isn't now.
Great food, good service, welcomed tesco vouchers. Even so less than £80 for 4 of us squeezed in at short notice on a busy Saturday. Thank you all very much 👍👌
Very good food. We are very well looked After. Altough l was alone I was very well looked After. Every Time I go to Truro I go to Ask italian
