Always fantastic food at this place! And great big portions too! I had a jacket potato with bacon brie and cranberry and was shocked at how much cranberry sauce I had!! I adore cranberry sauce so the more the better! Other places are so stingy with it!!

I ate in here today with my two girls. I’ve been coming to Truro to do my shopping for best part of 10 years and never knew this place existed!!! We, by accident, stumbled across this place today and decided to try it. The fact you can get a homemade roast dinner on a Monday just blew my mind and it did not disappoint at all. The meat melted in your mouth! My children had the all day breakfast and they said it was delicious. We will definitely be back...
Another fabulous meal today, melt in the mouth steak pie with lucious veg, roasters and gravy, followed by the most scrumptious cherry filled pancakes, hubby had spotted dick with custard, was torn between the choice of puds, he had to help me finish the pancakes as I was so full. They were to die for! Thank you so much for the 'gift' was such a fantastic surprise! Will look forward to spending it next time we are in Truro, hopefully not too long! Highly recommend 'Cloisters' to all I know who visit the city. See you again soon for more delicious food. 'Geraldine' the tea cosy' 😉
Several meals here over the last few years never had a bad meal, friendly staff, quick service and excellent food, can recommend the cherry cheesecake, almost as good as my mums home made one,
Great value for money food, extensive menu including gluten free! I had chicken and bacon sandwich this time, lovely warm chicken & bacon, bread very fresh, gorgeous coleslaw and side salad. Staff lovely and friendly, service incredibly efficient x
We visit Truro 4 or 5 times a year and head for Cloisters every time. Top nosh and top service. Friendly staff, nothing's too much trouble.
I recommend the stunning roast beef.
Absolutely love this little gem of a restaurant. Never been disappointed with the food (you'll need to be hungry to finish a standard portion!) or the friendly service. It's always busy so has a lovely atmosphere - I thoroughly recommend eating here!

I go here with my girlfriend roughly twice a week and we are always very happy with the service/food/drinks. The portion sizes are also very good value for money - I always leave full! Highly recommend them :D
My fiancé and I were out in Truro trying to find somewhere to have some quality time together and a nice lunch when we came across the Cloisters Restaurant. I've always been a huge fan of this place but after having had a hip replacement last year I still struggle with stairs. However I didn't need to worry as the owners had recently opened up the downstairs so this was no longer a problem. A very substantial menu with excellent prices so much to choose from! We ordered our food and before we knew it our food had arrived. Absolutely gorgeous. If I wasn't so full I would have had a dessert! Very friendly staff and great to see the downstairs being made use of. Will definitely be back! Thank you Cloisters!

Wonderful restaurant in the heart of Truro, warm welcome and seated at the table quickly. Lovely menu with plenty to chose from and a large specials board too. Ordered and food arrived in very good time all looking delicious, piping hot and good potions too! Food was very, very good, all four of us really enjoyed it. Service was very good too and prices were good value.
I've not been for a very long time so was unsure what to expect. It was comfortably warm out of the winter weather, staff were friendly and there is a large menu choice. Thoroughly enjoyed my panini with the fresh side salad. If you get chance taste the lemon meringue pie! �
Took a couple of friends here yesterday, as id been before and the food is great, had the usual roast beef, you definatly get your moneys worth!! Worth a trip!!
Have used Tremletts Newsagents twice in the last week to drop off return parcels. The first time Craig helped me so much with printing off all the returns labels and was really lovely & patient. Then today another member of staff was extremely helpful again - printing off labels and taking care of my parcel - during a very busy period. Really polite and very efficient. Great little newsagents. Thanks guys x
Compared to London, this newsagent is everything I ever hoped for. Always polite, always open - especially early morning on Sundays.
When we were looking for a small thing - colouring pencils to make our little baby girl happy, owner initially couldn't find any - just to chase us down the road to give it to her for free. Small gesture like that was huge for the kid. Thank you
