Enjoyed my food here. Chicken tikka masala had a sweet flavour which was different for me. Also had chilli paneer. Be careful eating the green chilli all at once. Employees were very nice, too. Only downside was the rude customer sitting behind me, but the restaurant is not at fault. Would eat here again.
Just a wonderful experience. Customer service was sublime. Food was so moreish and yet filling. Highly recommend.
Went to celebrate wedding anniversary whilst staying in Truro. Great food and very nice friendly staff.
We were booked in to another Indian in St Austell but we walked past Kathmandu and after reading the reviews we ended up cancelling our previous reservations and got a table here. We were so glad that we did as the food, service and overall atmosphere of this place is top notch. We were given a free side dish and as it was my partners birthday the day before, they gave us a couple of shots to round off a thoroughly good meal. If you're in Truro and like your spicy food, you can't go wrong here.
Absolutely brilliant meal at Kathmandu Palace. Very highly recommended.
Chris and the team are very welcoming even though it’s been 12 months since we last visited whilst on holiday last year. He remembered us and took the time out for a chat. I appreciate that and it really helps create a great atmosphere when visiting.
The food at this restaurant is top class. The Nepalese dishes are excellent.
Ghurka lager is great ice cold and the service is excellent.
This is probably our favourite restaurant to visit when we are on holiday in north Cornwall.
5* rating all the way.
Have booked to visit again in a few days.
Keep up the excellent work.
We called on the day and we were delighted that they squeezed us in (table for 2). It's a popular place but the tables don't feel crowded. Service was excellent and the food utterly delicious. Highly recommended and we'll be back.
Excellent and friendly staff!! Very fast service and wonderful food , i will definitely visit again. Recommended.
I was looking for an Indian takeaway in Truro and found Kathmandu Palace online. The restaurant is tucked down a little alley in the shadow of the cathedral and conveniently positioned next to a car park. Service was prompt and I was impressed that the proprietor took the time to check my order before I left. Noticing that one of my naan breads was missing, he quickly had one added to the bag and threw in some complimentary poppadoms for the inconvenience. The food was delicious, particularly the keema rice and the mixed grill. Recommended.
Came here with friends on Saturday and have to say the food was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly and our 2 hosts, one lady and one gentleman made a very warm welcome with friendly service
Highly Recommend!
Hospitality was so good! Probably the best I’ve ever received! Food tasted so good as well, and the staff made sure we were comfortable and that the food was alright constantly which really made us feel very special! Will be back when I pop into cornwall !
