I lived in Saudi Arabia for five years and I will say that this is pretty decent to be on the streets of Cambridge. Huge portion, tasty lamb doner without after taste, fresh veggies and crunchy pickled chillies. Definitely gonna come back for more of this. 🫡
A proper fish and chip shop that also does very tasty kebabs.
We really like the food from Rumbles - it's always fresh, well cooked and full of flavour. Portion sizes are also very generous.
Parking is usually east, too, either in the layby on Trumpington Road, or in the residential streets nearby.
The only problem is that it's often so busy that you can't hear a word that's said when you order by telephone. They usually get it right though!!

Excellent flaked fish. Chips could be crispier and the price could be lower (although I appreciate that these are Cambridge prices). Overall, it was an excellent and thoroughly enjoyable meal.
Fish, chips, and salad were excellent 😋 got large chips too much for 2! large cod was truly large, beautiful flakes of fish .
Cheap prices and good quality of foods. However chips are cold and quite soggy sometimes and it’s too thick to be honest. The staffs were not rude but definitely not kind and polite either. Some of them never smile and look can’t be bothered to work.

Great venue for getting fish and chips (and kebabs, pies, chicken nuggets, etc). The prices are very reasonable, the staff are very efficient, the food is cooked well and is tasty - not greasy like you get with some takeaways. I'd definitely recommend both the chips and the onion rings, never been disappointed with those. Worth a visit if you want some nice fish and chips.
Good fish, fries could be better (too thick and not well done).
Lovely big piece of fish that I shared with my 9yr old. Very tasty and lovely chips. Friendly staff and nice and quick service.
Nice portions and quick service. Really friendly staff. I like the fact you can have salad, pizza, burgers and kebabs. However, the fish and chips were 4 stars for me. 💪🐠🐟👍

Incredible crispy fish and fine fries... Awesome!
Went in last night for Cod ,plaice, chip curry sauce , not greasy at all like some absolutely superb will be back even though we have nearer chip shops!
