We went this morning to try the new Leaf cafe. Everything looks fresh, slight rearrangement in the cafe. The menu is quite extensive and well priced. We look forward to trying a cooked breakfast next time. One thing which I do hope is updated is that the whole place was freezing. Perhaps wandering round the shop, it might not be so noticeable. We became very chilled after an hour and a half chat and coffee. Previously the overhead heater helped a lot. I really do hope this is temporary. Best of luck for a busy future.
So glad the garden centre has a new cafe. me and my neighbour went today for lunch, the service was great and lovey comfortable seats and a very good price and nice food.
When staying with family we always visit the garden centre , and loved seeking out plants as gifts to take home. so I’m looking forward to my next visit in November, and also to try the new cafe .
Lovely garden centre with some unusual gifts. Well worth a visit. Very reasonably priced with their sales
They are busy refurbing their cafe at the moment and it's pretty bare to be fair right now. But I've always enjoyed a walk through
Good range of gardening equipment, plants and hardware. Has a cafe at the site and has plenty of parking
Lovely cafe & staff , absolutely disgusting that new management are not renewing lease 4 cafe & all staff are losing there jobs ,but they are opening there own cafe , they should be ashamed of themselves & I hope they loose alot customers, all they ate thinking of is themselves , very selfish ,the answer I got from the owner is very untrue , so why have you employed a new catering manager & why have all the staff got 2 apply 4 there jobs back ,why aren't you just doing a referb & all staff keeping there jobs ,totally unacceptable ,maybe the cafe is making more money than the garden centre ,that wouldnt surprise me .
Lovely walk around the plants ans great selection. Looking forward to the coffee shop opening
A very traditional garden centre and cafe complex, extensive wheelchair access is available to all areas including the award winning toilets and generous carparking bays. A comfortable selection of in house wheelchairs are also available for all those in need, be it an erratically sprightly octogenarian with an overly optimistic bent or perhaps a more forgetful disabled customer that has somehow managed to leave their own wheelchair at home. Both are covered, no questions.
All in all it's a gently paced serendipity for the elderly, a safe space where it is possible to both leisurely obsess about the array of new features for the garden and be it morning or afternoon, partake of a lightly fried breakfast with optional chips, Ketchup and brown sauce are also available, served in easily distinguishable brown or red bottles allowing both the illiterate and non English speaking customers to also make an informed choice.
A very minor criticism might be the lack of managerial guidelines to ensure the transgendered community enjoys safe and inclusive public toileting - whatever their pronoun.
A timeless haven in which to shelter from the worries of the modern day as we seemingly rollercoaster towards the next apocalypse -
In sumery - well worth a look if you like garden centres
Good selection of healthy plants. Nice indoor plants. Ornaments, birthday cards. Candles etc.
Lovely garden centre
Will the new cafe still serve hot food
It appears to have improved from a couple of years ago. Some staff could do with showing a better interaction with the customer.
It was a good shopping trip got plants that I was looking for staff was very helpful
Great little garden centre. Need sat navigation to find. Limited choice but we'll laid out. Friendly staff.
Great selection of plants and gifts. Helpful assistants. Plenty of parking. Good value bedding plants.
