The Poplars - Trowbridge - Photo album

Poplar by name and nature. Last visited on the first night, the new owners took over, which was chaotic for the staff. But glad to see it's all settled down and the staggered seating times worked really well. The food was great. I'm glad to see fagotts back on the menu, though I went for juicy rum
It's a really nice pub. The staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We had a roast dinner. I had duck, and it was perfect. They have high chairs for children and also did my 19month old son his own Yorkshire pudding. I think it was good value for money and I would like to go again. The beer was
This was our first visit. We booked an early dinner table for two forgetting that it was Halloween! The kids were having a great time and the pub had had a Halloween makeover. The hosts found us a quietish table in the dining room where we had a 5 star meal. The food was perfectly cooked and full of

Lovely country pub vibe on the outskirts of Trowbridge. Places to park, wheelchair accessible. Small menu but perfectly balanced, something there for everyone. Gluten free options available too 🙂 Beautifully presented dishes, insta friendly 😉🍽️🤤 Its not the cheapest place but you get what you pay fo

My daughter and I had Sunday there weekend just gone. Staff and food were very good. Plenty of parking even though it was quite busy with diners. Would definitely recommend the Sunday roast.
Second visit to this friendly country pub. Good varied menu caters for all dietary needs. Food is high quality, excellent chips and even though the pub was full, the service was still speedy. Leave a space for the puddings, they are worth it. Family friendly with large sunny garden and cricket pitch
We went here with some in trepidation as we knew the owners had recently changed over. However were delighted the standard and quality of food has actually improved from What was already a good standard. Nice people, great food and a lovely little pub in the village. We waited to our second visit t
4 of us enjoyed fantastic food and service at The Poplars, the owners should be proud of what they've achieved. We'll be back very soon 😋
