We received a warm and friendly welcome to a very comfortable, clean and well presented bed and breakfast. We were also able to eat and drink who served tasty home cooked food which was very satisfying
Had a lovely stay despite it getting off to a difficult start when the A66 and surrounding roads were all closed due to incidents. Stopped in for a bite to eat , friendly welcome . I had the sausage main with was slightly over cooked but other than that was nice . Had the sticky toffee pudding which was excellent. Nice ale also . Food was slightly expensive . Good friendly service and nice pub

As a solo female traveller using this as a stopping point on a long journey, I was SO impressed with this little Inn. The staff are incredible - accommodating and friendly - the food is delicious (well worth booking a table to make sure you can enjoy a lovely dinner), and the Inn
