Simply the best and we've tried a few. Fish so fresh and batter so thin and crispy, the chips perfectly cooked. Have to give this a big 10 out of 10. Delicious
Great place, but the fish was a bit greasy. I had the haddock and chips and my other half had hake and chips. He thoroughly enjoyed his fish and chips. Fantastic homemade tartare sauce.
I live here many years now and I have to say, those are the best battered scampi I ever had.

Came down with my partner after hearing so many great things about this place. Food was very good, no grease at all like in most chip shops. I had the haddock which was lovely but would have wanted 2 bits of fish and they were a bit stingy with the salt and vinegar but that’s my only complaints. Lov

A real hidden gem that doesn't seem to advertise, yet is always extremely busy. Be prepared to wait for a good while both before ordering and then for your food to be ready, but it's worth the wait.

We make a point of trying award winning chippies, we've tried places all over the UK, this is still the best for me. Not sure why this doesn't win the Scotland one every year. Monkfish, King prawn tempura and spicy onion rings... amazing 👏
