Went for father’s day. They were very busy, but we got a quick service and they were friendly. The food was good and service was nice throughout.
Would visit again
Myself and my husband visited here recently for dinner, not been here for quite a while.
Very nice waitress called Jo served us. Upon mentioning it was the anniversary of when we first started going out, she returned with a lovely gift from the team at The Crows Nest. Nice gesture and totally unexpected. Food, service and view were all good 👍 Will return again soon 😀

Popped in on as a family of 3 on a Sunday afternoon after visiting Wendover Woods, which is nearby.
We didn't have a booking but only waited 15 minutes to be seated. The waitresses were clearly very busy, so it was another short wait before our order was taken.
There's beautiful views from the back seating area and a lovely garden area with a kids' play section.
The food came out surprisingly quick. Kids grilled chicken and chips, and a sharer roast for 2.
We all enjoyed our food. My partner and myself couldn't finish the sharer roast between us, even with little one helping us with the best bits.
The kids' pancakes and cream with chocolate dipping sauce were demolished by my little one, so I think it's safe to say they tasted just as good as the dinner.
Plenty of parking, but don't forget to type in your reg when entering the building. Disabled access. Toilets had loo roll but weren't the cleanest.
Fantastic for an occasion.Great cocktails and Desserts.Definitely recommend the Churros Sundae for those of you with a sweet tooth.
Not been here for years, everything was spot on. No complaints.
Usually go here on a weekend, for a breakfast treat for me and my daughter. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. There is a good variety of food, the cooked & continental breakfast is amazing for the price - I always get a good poached egg! The coffee machine actually makes nice coffee too. The atmosphere is great and very relaxed.
First time visit to this place after a long walk at Wendover Woods. Staff were helpful and prompt with service and food. However food wasn’t particularly hot when served which was disappointing as we had 5 hungry kids to feed! The 4 adult meals were not particularly hot either which was disappointing. Prices were reasonable for the food ordered and there was also a huge beer garden and play area to the rear which was very handy for the kids to play in.
I went on Saturday lunchtime with my son and grandchildren. It was all OK, but the food took well over an hour to come, which is a long time for the children to wait. Having said that, the food was well cooked and enjoyed by all.
Lovely place, my 1st time here. Friendly staff, excellent food & my best mixed grill ever. Catering for disabled as my friend is in a wheelchair. Quick service, prices represent food quality. Will be going back when I'm passing by again. Plenty of spaces to park & you can stay next door for the night.
I took my grandchildren (9-13) here for Sunday breakfast yesterday. The food was excellent and plenty of it too, we didn’t eat for the rest of the day! Such a good offer with children eating free. Alaskia was our lovely waitress, who interacted with the children and was friendly and helpful. (sorry if I have the name a little wrong) a great start to our day and I will definitely return.
Service was good and friendly, helpful waitress. A few things not available on menu, but that seems to be "normal" in several restaurants currently. If its good weather, head for the garden, or back of restaurant - fabulous views of the Vale
