Good food and a great atmosphere. Not much more to say other than I'm very happy I stopped by for breakfast. Note that the breakfast is a *small* and the coffee is a large. Plenty of food already for a largish guy.

Great cafe! The food was lovely, as was the coffee, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Very cosy. My 3 and 6 year olds had a great time and enjoyed their children's platters. Lots of veggie and vegan options.

I really liked it here. The food was nice and freshly cooked. I had the chunky cod sandwich which was very good. The salad was very fresh and had a tasty dressing on it. The atmosphere was relaxed and me and my partner stayed for a while just sitting and talking whilst having our food and drinks. We didn't feel rushed at all. It was nicely decorated and seemed good for children too as the staff were so friendly.

Nice full English, no tomatoes but that's okay by me as I don't like them. Well cooked quality products. Traditional tea room atmosphere. Probably best value breakfast in tring. Does lunch menu and afternoon teas. Good service, good quality and good value. Only downside is it's 10 yards off the high street so visitors will have to look beyond the end of their noses. But it's well worth the effort.😁😁😁👍👍👍👍

Lovely place. Friendly people. Delicious food (including a good range of vegie food) and plenty of it. Half portions for younger or less hungry people. Looks like there's an enthusiasm for cycling by the proprietor.

This is without a doubt the best cafe in Tring. To be honest, it's a front runner for best in Hertfordshire. The food is great, fresh cooked and tasty. The staff are warm and friendly. The décor is perfect. Have an early grey and large breakfast, thank me later. The only way they could improve is if they did fried bread.

Had a really nice lunch. The cafe is compact. Usual kind of lunch menu with some added interesting specials. Interesting choice of green and herbal teas as well as the usual teas and coffees. Would happily return next time we are in the area.

Come one come all! Bring your bike, but leave it outside.. this is a really nice cafe, after a long cycle in the chilterns, this is an ideal place to make your halfway stop over for re charging weary legs, before you climb those hills to get out of tring again. (Must admit sometimes I have thought of phoning a cab😄) The cog has an excellent choice of snacks and meals.. well worth a visit, the owner is very welcoming, provided your not too smelly.. enjoy the Cog it's a lovely place.. I do.

Great place to eat and drink if you're visiting the museum or Tring Park, but also handy if you're cycling through the area and need to recharge your batteries.
