Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Great local Welsh pub.
We were hosted last minute this weekend as a large group of 20 people who where having a weekend away. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The Sunday roasts were unbelievably good and many of the group commented on how it was one of the best they’d had in a long time! Portion sizes wher
Just home from enjoying an absolutely beautiful Sunday roast here.
The welcome felt very warm and genuine from a lovely team who couldn't do enough for us.
The food was hot and very well presented.
They were more than happy to provide a " take home" meal for a family member who couldn't join us. The
I visited yesterday as I was performing in a concert in the church next door. It's lovely, warm and welcoming pub with board games, books, pool table, darts and comfy sofas. Lovely real ale and friendly staff.
We booked in a party of 23 with less than 24hrs notice for a Sunday tea. They took the booking in good faith and put on the best roast dinner. Everyone of us cleared the plate. Kids and dogs were welcome and you couldn't fault the service.
Went for our first meal here tonight. Absolutely delicious. Lots of choice and huge portions. All freshly made, no pub grub, a real step above. Highly recommended and I don't usually say that
Cute pub with really excellent food and dog friendly. Staff were friendly but service was not very attentive so it took a while to order food, and we were finally served about an hour and a quarter after arriving. Fortunately the food was fantastic so it was worth the wait.
Excellent service really nice coffee very friendly and happy to see motorcyclists
Thanks guys SEE YOU SOON
What a find! We visited last night with the family, dogs more than welcome 🐾 all the staff were lovely and the food was amazing. Beware we’re good eaters but the portions where huge! Everything is homemade and I highly recommend the Dover Sole Fish and Chips. Absolutely Devine!!! Thanks everyone we’
Called in for a few drinks with our dog after a good walk , we sat right by the fire which every country pub should have, we had a light lunch that was tasty , lots of parking and great staff.
Great community pub. Real Ale and cider in good condition. Good bar staff. Pool, darts & dogs. I didn't try the food.
Brilliant.. Great service that wasn't rushed. Welcoming, great food and variety of local beers. Kids enjoyed the park while we waited for the food to arrive. If your looking for great home cooked food and generous portions then this is a win. One of the better meals out we have had in ages.
lovely beer garden after a walk on Offa’s Dyke. Good range of locally brewed ales and lagers. Food menu looked good, was tempted by the black pudding scotch egg! Fantastic weather. Bendigedig!
A village pub, the way village pubs should be, craft beer and lagers, friendly staff and locals, vast choice of craft flavoured gins. The food is fabulous too, something for everyone, a little off the beaten path but so worth the travelling. Try the local beers brewed by Dovecote and their Solidarit
Excellent pub and staff. Option to have your roast beef medium or rare would be a winner, instead of just well done. Would come back again for more ghost stories.
Fantastic local pub bringing a touch of normality to the community during lockdown. The takeout meals are excellent and the menu choices change regularly. I can't recommend them enough!
A really lovely country pub with great country pub vibes has a lovely log burner dogs are welcome, a little expensive on the food but a lovely place.
