A welcomed stop on a rainy cycle. Great homemade soup and a coffee. Space for bikes and a decent number of tables. Menu has something for everyone.
Following long walk around the Trawden countryside with our two dogs, we accidentally happened across The Rock Cafe.
We sat outside and had a lovely light lunch ( well I had light lunch)!
My husband finished with HUGE coffee and walnut cake!
Everything was homemade.
The staff were incredibly friendl
Beautiful food, lovely service from local and knowledgeable hosts, well-priced, dog-friendly. What more could you want?? Recommended.
Lovely cafe, friendly staff, great food, great location. Added bonus of a lovely shop next door. Indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonable prices. Delicious toasties and coffee. Highly recommended ☕️
Had a lovely breakfast at the Old Rock Cafe. The decor is lovely and cozy and had been really nicely decorated for Christmas.
The owner and staff were absolutely lovely and looked after our little cavapoo as well as us.

Came in mid ride, miserable weather. Staff were so hospitable, offered us a towel to dry ourselves, offered to watch our bikes. Small things which really boost mood in a bad day. Oh and everything else was lovey, the cake & hot chocolate!
What a delight this Coffee Shop is….Stopped here once again mid ride 🚴 and opted for a couple of coffees and a very generous size of Bakewell Tart. Service with a smile and look forward to visiting again soon. Can’t recommend enough ✔️
Visited this place with the family after a lovely visit to nearby Wycoller. The staff were super friendly and polite, the food was delicious and well-priced. Excellent celebration cakes, not just beautiful but delicious as well. So often a stunning cake is a bit boring and average under the thick fondant icing, but not here.
