My usual review, ok as a McDonald's goes. I visited mid afternoon on a Friday. It was busy in store however, drive thru was quiet. Quick service. Plenty of outside seating. Generally clean, the toilet was very small and the pan was out of order.
Stopped off as it was standstill traffic on the way home. Busy but prompt service and sat outside as it was great weather. Plenty of parking.
Fast friendly service. Coffee was just what I needed and my daughter enjoyed her pancakes.
Tea was cold so had to send it back. Ice cream good standard. Getting from the car is actually quite dangerous as there are fences preventing easy access. Be aware if you have children.
Great McDonald's. Consistently well cooked fries. Weird how some branches manage this and others fail. Anyway, great service from a friendly team.
Top top, if you're using the McApp at the Drive thru, just decline at the order point as it never works. Just add your code when you go to pay.
This is a good McDonald’s it’s quite consistent with food quality. One issue though The tomato sauce dispenser has not worked correctly for 2 months you do one and then it hasn’t got the pressure to do another. This isn’t the only Mc Donald’s I’ve had this issue with the machine though. I really think after a few months it should have been fixed though!
We were gobsmacked on how the staff.. we're so good, it was clean and tidy.
The food was prepared with more care then normal at any other McDonald's
First time visit to this branch and it was your typical McDonald's food and service.
I did however have a problem with using the app to do my order. It said it failed and I had to go to the counter, and which I did, however they said they couldn't find the order. Said to try and reorder again, so I did. Then seconds later my first order arrived. I asked them to cancel the second order, but they said I have to speak to customer service to get my money back. So whilst the service at the branch was good the whole ordering and refund because I used the app was rubbish.
Lifesaver! Starving hungry, soaking wet, freezing cold and a long way from home. Typical English summer day trip.
But this McDonald's happened to be on my cross country route.
Food was good and tasty!
Set in well established and handy local services including BP fuel station off the A43.
Adequate parking for cars but if you're in a lorry or caravan you (might) be able to park on site in between McDonald's and the fuel station.
Standard McDonald's, I've always had good service here so I recommend and would return.
Return visit, not been here since before lockdown. Not as busy as before , good quick service.
The rest of my comments remain the same
Still one of the best kept McDonalds, spotlessly clean and this includes the toilets. When traveling from the South to Northern destinations we have used this as our break just prior to joining the M1. Open 24hours, and has a drive through. Outside seating mainly used during good weather , also a good size carpark
As McD's go this was a good experience. Food was quick and hot, which is how it should be wherever you go, but more often than not it isn't these days. Usual trouble are the swathes of just eat, Uber eat and all those alike that slow everything down for the regular punter... But none of this nonsense at this McDonalds.
Bit of a shame as there were loads of staff but seemed a little inexperienced.
No salt, my wrap was cold, ashed for it yo go in microwave but they couldn't get it. However, all credit they asked me if I wanted another.I declined and said I would heat it at home. Not much bacon in there tbh.
Hand dryer in the toilet wasn't working.

It's a typical roadside McDonald's (it felt like I had been there before, although I hadn't). The rats playing around the bin in the outdoor eating area appeared clean and healthy, and weren't too timid or overly friendly. 🐀
