Celebrated dad's birthday here and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Son had the lamb chops which were I think the dish of the evening, I had the pork belly which was also very well executed. Mash was silky and the gravy bursting with flavour. Bill for 5 of us including wine came to £240, definitely the best food available in the area.

We have been meaning to try the Sunday roast for ages because it had such a good reputation and I have to say it surpassed our expectations. We had some excellent beef with all the trimmings and it really was too much food. The helpings were generous and we could not fault a thing. Even the weather was delightful and we sipped wine afterwards and watched the sun set. Great evening! Thanks to everyone at the Folly.

Popped here Saturday night as we arrived in the area to stay for a few days. It was a lovely little find, and the staff were very welcoming, food well presented, and a wow on the taste buds, very impressed, highly recommend

Lovely food, very welcoming and friendly, efficient service. We have stopped here a couple of times to break up long journeys. The first time we had a superb roast and this time we had their set menu which was excellent value. The food was delicious especially the risotto and top quality fish and chips. Will try the full menu next time. They even welcomed our dog. If we lived nearby we’d be in there all the time!

What a delight! Lovely little pub in traditional style, with gorgeous food offerings. Three courses at £27 (supplemented options available) - duck was beautifully cooked and wine also fabulous. Prompt service, easy booking system. Left very satisfied! Staff helpful, bubbly and friendly.

Had a lovely lunch for 2 today. The food was delicious with only one minor issue, but that was quickly rectified. The service was prompt, the atmosphere relaxed and the staff were friendly. What more could you want? I would highly recommend the Folly Inn.

We took my grandma out on Saturday for lunch. The food was amazing, however my favourite part was the staff . So kind and caring . It’s very rare you get something like that. They all went so far out their way to make you feel welcome . Tracy ( think I’ve spelled that right ) was honestly a 10/10 . Thank you so much, Ryan Knight

Came for dinner, lovely food. Quick service. Dog friendly in either one table at the bar or the marquee, and didn’t have to book to sit in there, had heaters in there as-well so was fine. 5* would come again. Thanks 😊

First time visiting last weekend and we had the Sunday lunch; the Roast beef and vegetarian Wellington, with a side of cauliflower cheese. All of it was absolutely delicious, and the cauliflower cheese was the nicest I have ever tried! Not always easy to find somewhere that does a great veggie Sunday lunch option, but it really was amazing. Had the crumble and custard to finish, which we devoured! Service was warm, friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back.

Honestly the best Sunday dinner. Me my partner and my two young children (one is autistic) the service from when we entered the doors to when we left was so fricking amazing. The food was beautiful. Cooked to perfection. Beautiful clean and tidy restaurant.

It serves absolutely wonderful food, superbly cooked. I had the best cheese souffle I've ever eaten. Not a large menu but that's a positive, because you know each dish will be spot on. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. It's a small venue so booking is essential. There's a secluded outside terrace and garden where you can also eat if the weather permits. P.S. the draught beer (very local) is fabulous too

Food is amazing. Prices quite high. Service very good. Bench seats quite uncomfortable after a short while and very little space to move and stretch legs.

We visited on a hot Saturday lunchtime. Can recommend the Caesar Salad. Service friendly. Good range of indoor and outdoor seating. One of the few pubs I've ever been is that serves no crisps or nuts.

Lovely food, very friendly and helpful service and felt quite safe. There's also an outdoor marquee area where you can reserve a table. I would highly recommend the blue cheese soufflé - it was surprisingly delicious. Would love to come again!
