My husband and I have been eagerly anticipating the opening of this restaurant and booked a table for the first Saturday evening after opening before the doors had officially opened.
We are novices with Turkish food but the menu is detailed and informative to allow you to make a decision with little guidance although the staff are more than happy to make suggestions.
We had hummus to start, with the delicious complimentary bread, followed by the lamb ribs and the olive tree special (their mixed grill) so we could try a lot of different things on the menu. We were not disappointed!
The food is absolutely incredible! The lamb shish melts in the mouth, and the flavours were out of this world.
At one point in the evening there was an issue with the fire alarm going off, however it did not spoil our evening. I did find myself having to apologise to our waitress though for the way the table next to us spoke to her. Their attitude and threatening to leave a bad review on Facebook was disgusting and they were clearly trying to get a free meal, having already finished their food when the alarm started going off. No the manager didn’t come over straight away to apologise for the noise and offer a free drink, he was trying to fix the problem.
My husband and I watched him and his staff run round trying everything to resolve the issue and the waiting staff were continually apologising on his behalf. Once the alarm had been silenced, the manager personally visited every table, apologised profusely and offered everyone a free round of drinks.
The alarm certainly did not spoil our evening, or put us off returning.
We look forward to returning soon.

Great place, the food was amazing and the service was just as good! Our waitor Selmon was very friendly, even had a rose made out of a napkin for me. Food cooked by Sendor �� will definatly return and recommend to friends/family
We ate here on the Friday night after the grand opening, while you might have expected some teething problems everything was great. Complimentary bread/dips were nice and even when our waitress suggested that there may be a little wait for our mains they came promptly.
Food, wine and cocktails are well priced. The only gripe we had was that a pint of draught beer is nearly £6 - London + price!?

Just had the most wonderful meal - very good value - wow so much lovely food, and such good quality, lovely surroundings, wonderful music and lush ambience ... we felt like we were on holiday �
Wow what an evening superb food, drink and atmosphere!! Unfortunately there was a problem with the alarm which went off and there didn’t seem to be anyway of switching it off luckily my husband was able to stop it much to everyone’s relief. This however did not ruin our evening as the staff and management handled the situation well. It was a shame that other customers there at the same time had to be so rude and insulting to the staff when it clearly wasn’t their fault, some even walked out and refused to pay their bill, I felt ashamed to be British as their behaviour was appalling. I would just like to say thank you to all the staff at the Olive Tree for a fabulous evening and I can’t wait to go back and will definitely be recommending you to all my family and friends xx
Such a lovely evening celebrating our wedding anniversary in the Olive Tree last night. The food and service were brilliant and staff were very friendly. Such a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning!!!
We had another brilliant meal there on Sunday for my birthday. There were 19 of us and all the food came out together. Great service and once again Magdalena was lovely, my grandson let her hold him up to the lights and he won’t usually go to anyone he doesn’t know! Highly recommend x
Went last Friday and really loved it. Nice buzzy atmosphere, great tasting food and reasonably priced. Loved the hot mezze starter. Would recommend.
Our first visit to a turkish restaurant and we were not disappointed. Great, clear menu and, more importantly for us, a separate kids menu. Lovely food and experience, Staff very attentive and hospitable, nothing was too much trouble.
Came here today for a meal with family. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were served by Magdalena and she was great, interacting with the children, giving them colouring etc. Food was really delicious - we all cleared our plates. Will definitely be back �
Fantastic venue. Very good food. Great price and very friendly staff. The host was exceptional. Came here with a group of seven including one in a wheelchair for a birthday celebration. Very well looked after.

What a friendly lovely place! I popped in on my own just for something light and they were so welcoming. Food was delicious.
Excellent location for a small party to go to. Food was excellent, service was top of the line. The birthday 'boy' even got a fancy dessert as a present from the staff.
Amazing food, friendly staff and great restaurant. Made to feel very welcome. Next time we are in Towcester we will definitely be returning
Booked a table online, but some how put wrong date in, still got a table and staff were fine about it. Staff really friendly, food was really good as three empty plates showed. Food was quick too be served, came hot and we weren't rushed at any time during the 3 courses we all had. Good choice on menu, certainly be going back again.
Lovely restaurant. Love the layout and interior decor, especially the lights. Food was absolutely delicious- the bread oolala!!! I had the house special - yummy. Others in my party loved their food too.
Have been here a number of times, with friends, with family and for a romantic meal, each time has been a very good experience. Delicious food, very very good wait staff, very generous portions. Child friendly and a suitable venue for a grown up meal. Very lucky to have this gem on our door step
Food was outstanding, came with a number of colleagues after a days work nearby, and the service was impeccable. Food servings were very large and well worth the money we paid. Definitely somewhere I'd recommend.
