A wonderful friendly place with professional trained staff knowing in there stock new and upcoming brewed ales. By the best place in Totnes if not the best on South Hams. I truly recommend any one to enjoy a drink here.

Love this place. Wonderful location. Love it even more now finding it stocks my favourite alcohol free beer - Brewdog Nanny State! The best drink for DD’s!
We popped in for a quick pint a few weeks ago and the Totnes Brewing Co. did not disappoint. The ale, the atmosphere, the venue itself, and the staff were all a pleasure. And there was a fire burning in the fireplace, too, which added to the charm. The young barman indulged me by playing some Ben Howard on the sound system, since I'm a big fan and learned that he hails from Totnes. I've visited Totnes 3 times, on each of my visits from Canada, and I will do so again, and ensure that the Totnes Brewing Co. is one of my stops!

The beer library aside, the choice on the bar is superb, both cask and keg.
Really pleased to say that we enjoyed your own products more than the visiting options (some market leaders too), Tropango kicking the backside of Halcyon Mango being the surprise.

This place is a gem that must be protected. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are great. There is a fantastic selection of craft beers. What makes it really unique is that you can bring your own food; with the selection available in the town, particularly on market day this makes for a brilliant combination!
My first visit to The Barrel House. I was attending to perform at an open mic night. I was greeted by the events manager who was absolutely lovely. That goes for all the bar staff, a friendly and helpful attitude all round. A good range of beers and ciders available. No food but you can order in from elsewhere. Good performance venue and a great welcome in Totnes.
I've been to a few gigs here as a solo female, it's great to feel safe in a crowd. It's great to see their choices of bands lined up. Amazing atmosphere every time, nice to see a bar selling Korev, and the staff are always lovely.
Girl behind bar burnt my mate for ordering a Korev 10/10. Nice to see a place that has a laugh and honesty 😂

One of my favourites place in town! Especially the Ballroom to do the salsa lessons every Monday and the service is great! Traditional beer 🍻 and nice wine 🍷always live music 🎶 🕺
An absolutely lovely little music venue. Holds approx 100 people so is perfect for intimate performances.
They put on a wide range of acts and club nights - in the last couple of years I've seen Joe Metronomy DJ, The Wave Pictures, jazz, psych rock, folk, and raved to house music.
They have a monthly comedy night and a open mic jam session.
The gold vaulted ceiling is pretty special too!
Love it here. Good sound tech people. Live gigs upstairs are good and decent pint. Best in Totnes for pubs. Poetry night is a blessing
Nice venue for bands to play, had a great time good atmosphere and the pub down stairs do interestingly different beers.
