This is part of the Riverford Farm empire. Lovely farm shop with deli & butcher's counters. Great local produce with a lot of organic offerings. On-site cafe is very popular.
ADD Just wanted to add some photos from our visit today (Nov 2021) - the veg all looked beautiful, especially the cabbages.
I’ve just discovered Ben’s turmeric latte drink in the café area beside the farm shop. What a wonderful hot drink this is. It leaves you calmer than a cup of coffee. I’m sure it must be good for you. Please see photo. See, too, how it colour coordinates with a piece of polenta cake.
A real farm shop not one catering just for "weekend *city * farmers" or people with more money than sense.
Excellent produce and very friendly & helpful staff.
A definite stop for us on each visit to the Totnes area.

Visited again recently, my only negative comment is the lad serving food could improve his interpersonal skills. Had a great lunch and bought some products I've only seen abroad!

Love this place. Everything uou need in one shop, even incredibly priced flowers for the garden. The deli counter does delicious sandwiches. But hers very good too.
Literally, the nicest meat I have ever tasted. You pay a bit more for it, but it's well worth the price! Proper food, tastes way better than the supermarket stuff.
Wonderful - visited twice whilst staying in the area. Highly recommend the lamb, the cheeses and excellent wine selection. My 8 year old son said the watermelons were 'mega tasty' which is endorsement indeed!
Couldn't see any designated bike parking but managed to chain my bike to the log store which was absolutely fine. I bought delicious strawberries, vine tomatoes (which I ate before I got home) I should have bought more .. thankfully there were water melons the perfect size for my pannier bags. A lov

Love the Organic milk, pastries and cakes. Good selection of local ales. All the healthy produce you could ask for. Priced higher than supermarkets obviously but you get all the wholefoods in one place.

Great find just off the Totnes road at Staverton, if you like organic, local produce, try the shop, there's lot of hippies in there, but it's ok.
