This was a great find on our long walking holiday. It's a bit out of the way but strongly recommend if you have a chance to get there. Great food, great service, pleasant atmosphere (although we stood out as the only non-locals!). We enjoyed the Buddha Bowl and excellent chips. The best we had in th
What a gem. Fantastic Sunday lamb roast and a Pavlova to die for. But what tops it is the great atmosphere and the extremely friendly owners. We will be back. 100%. We have been back a few times now. Still huge fans.
Lovely pub. Brilliant staff. Food very nicely cooked. Jolly atmosphere. Reasonable menu.
I have been in for dinner and drinks with my partner and had amazing food a great customer service. Lovely village pub.
Lovely Sunday Dinner. Delightful staff. Thank you.
Easter Sunday Lunch; roast lamb and six types of vegetable, followed by apple crumble and custard washed down with a pint of Otter Bright. Simply delicious 😋
Great food, good beer, very reasonably priced. Will be returning!
What a treasure. Lovely friendly little pub and superb food. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.
Welcoming Landlord where nothing is too much trouble. Pleasant and helpful staff. The food was absolutely scrummy, South African chicken curry for me and beef & guiness pie for hubby. Everything was cooked fresh, lovely! I was pleased to be able to have alcohol free cider and alcohol free G & T, as
Excellent food and friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely brilliant little pub - friendly service, wonderful food and a gorgeous environment. We were staying in the cottage next door and even had our food hand delivered to the front door!!! Totally amazing :)
Well looked after and the food was fantastic. Landlords have a great sense of humour. We were made very welcome. Our first visit but by no means our last!!
Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, food was really nice and well priced. There was a little delay in our food getting to us but it didn't ruin our night, only thing that could be improved is a bit more variation on the starter menu, it didn't match what was on the website when we booked.
Proper village pub with a friendly welcome
Relaxed inside friendly bar staff nice decor food is nice apparently so will try to get down there only negative thing is parking you most probably have have to park in thr village hall car park and walk back to the pub (5min walk)
Absolutely Lovely the pie was out of this world will certainly be returning
Very friendly, attentive service with truly incredible food. It would not be an exaggeration to say that my beef roast was the best roast I’ve ever eaten. A real gem in beautiful surroundings.
Very cosy, awesome food and selection of drinks. The owners and staff are really nice. Overall a really nice "middle of nowhere" pub. Highly recommended.
