Absolutely first class!! The leader of our canoe trip earlier in the week recommended it and he was right! The most amazing coffee, pastries and cakes I have every tasted! The industrial surrounding adds to the mystic of this wonderful find - the type of place you might find in 'upcoming' areas of London but right here in delicious Devon!! You won't be disappointed!

Great to see local artisan bakery thriving and within driving distance. Visited for the first time today and will definitely be back soon. Sausage roll was best I've had, coffee freshly brewed with care and attention. Had to indulge ourselves with some take-out - two loaves, Portuguese custard tarts, chocolate cookies and raspberry tarts ! The place was bustling. Thank you guys. See you soon.

A friend talked about the Almond Theif earlier this morning. It planted a seed in my brain. Just HAD to squeeze a cuppa n toast in before work. No time for yummy poached eggs today That's set me up for a lovely sunny happy day, thank you Almond Theif team x

Incredibly popular, tho it was a Bank Holiday. .... excellent food baked on the premises. ........coffee tended to be bitter as in a black Americano

Great sourdoughs and high quality coffee from Origin in Cornwall. Pastries and goujons, and a very fine lemon curd to go with your toast.

Fresh bread to take out; breakfasts and cakes to sit in and lashings of ginger beer. Easy parking for up to 2 hours and still free.

Lovely atmosphere--gets very busy. Great coffee and good food, but also quite pricey (expect to pay £7+ for poached eggs and toast.) Sourdough bread is delicious and features in most of the choices! Always a nice treat.

Everyone in our house loves the Almond Theif. The sourdough is the best in the South Hams and my children love all of the pastries, especially the Pain au Chocolat.
