The best place in the area by far. They love children & dogs as well as us & food is great & reasonably priced. If you are lucky you catch music too! I love it! Well done Tara!

Warm welcoming cafe. Dogs are welcome as long as they don't go on the sofas. Had a nice coffee and lemon polenta slice. The menu looked interesting, I will be back.

I haven't had the opportunity to eat here yet, but I did sample some of the homemade lemonade after a hot thirsty walk from Totnes. The cakes looked scrumptious! Lovely bright and vibrant feel to the cafe and nice, sunny area to sit outside!

My idea of heaven. Vegan and GF options a plenty, potent coffee with oat milk and stunning views to take in while we sat outside in the sun enjoying our fare. Lovely hippy vibe here and I'm definitely going back one day!

Lovely, big place, with healthy options and tasty food. Very continental feeling, currently, as they have many foreign employees, which gives it a lovely city feel, but in the heart of the country. Sat outside in the open air. There were water bowls for dogs and it's very dog friendly inside and out. Top marks. Make sure you get your table number before ordering, otherwise the very efficient gent at the till may be mildly admonishing 😉 We'll come again. We walked from Totnes (3 miles ?) so don't know about parking prices

Good tasty food, happy staff to greet you and a barista that can make better than alright coffee - yayy, at least now i've found a decent cafe hangout and with plenty of gluten free choices. We had 3 chicken sandwiches on gluten free bread that were tasty as. Actually the gluten free bread was so tasty i bought 2 gluten free loaves home with me. Totally relaxing place with with Dartington Hall across the road to discover after you've smashed your daily kilojoule allowance with cake snd coffee. There's paid parking behind the cafe as you never know where those meter maids are lurking. Get your whole family here for a big day out!

Great little cafe convenient for Dartington gardens and the Barn cinema. Child and adult friendly with dogs allowed in one part. Several outside tables available. Very good coffee.

We popped by when we were recommended by a local. Though they don’t have a big breakfast menu, the brekkie sandwiches are really great!

I have been coming to Dartington for 40yrs, and I had no idea that this cafe existed!! I still cannot believe it. The menu choice is very good and the salads on view looked delicious. There were two soups on offer and we chose the pork and black bean chilli soup with rye bread. And absolutely delicious it was too. The service was excellent, so many staff around. It's quite a big place yet we got the last spare table so obviously it's well known. There is a huge veranda at the front with views if it is a lovely day.

We had some very tasty homemade lemonade, great salads, and an excellent quiche. Prices were reasonable. It’s so nice to visit somewhere that offers meat as a minor item on the menu, rather than the other way around! Definitely worth visiting for lunch if you’re at Dartington, and even if you’re just in the area.

A 5-item salad or set meals from the menu. Always lots of space in a school canteen-styled environment. Hard surfaces and piped music make it noisy and difficult to hold a conversation without shouting so just eat instead! Food is good, but keep your sugar-eye open. Park 50 metres away in the RingGo car park code 24704 with surcharge from RingGo

Great food. Gf and vegan. Dog friendly. Close to Dartington Hall and a walk round the gardens . Parking machine an absolute pain though
