Food was absolutely phenomenal, we went for something to eat fairly late as we arrived late.
Everything we were served was fresh, I can’t remember the last time I had proper fresh scampi.
The burger was absolutely lovely, cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.

I have never stayed here... I have had their food Sunday lunches fish and chips etc. I can honestly say I have never found any of the staff rude. I have been here so many time that the service I have had here has been great the food really nice. They are a little pricey but look at the location look
Just popped in to have a look around. Glad I did. Great outdoor space right on the Riverside. Many tables covered with umbrellas with comfortable chairs. Small restaurant probably 10 or 12 tables although eating outdoors would be easily achieved. The bar was compact but was well stocked, manager who
Enjoyed a lovely meal with friends and later relaxed on the terrace by the river with a couple of drinks. Food was lovely though menu is limited. Car park small so had to park away so needs to be considered for people with mobility issues. Staff were lovely and service was good too.
What a wonderful place - we’d heard The Steam Packet Inn had been completely transformed but it surpassed our expectations!

Fantastic views from the terrace
My wife and I had a few days at the Steam Packet Inn. Upon arrival we were met with a friendly welcome and shown to a great room overlooking the River Dart. A short walk took us to the town and boat trips. We had a lovely breakfast every morning. We also enjoyed the meals from the menu good portio

Really lovely pub by the river. It was pretty busy but the food come fast.
My partner had a bugers which was amazing just to look at. He enjoyed and he says that it was really tasty.

Slightly further from the main shopping area, but worth seeking out. A prominent position next to the river, plenty of outside seating in which to unwind, the warm interior with plush fittings perfectly accompanies the exterior.
Lovely friendly staff, dog friendly outside and in the bar, great food and drink. The beer garden/terrace is also good.

Excellent stay. The only problem was the bed in room 2 was to small for a 6ft man and wife compared to room 1, which was a huge king-size
