On a rainy Monday we found ourselves in Totnes hoping to find a table & have brunch @the.hairy.barista 🥳 The place was packed & buzzing 😃 The food was exquisite & so was the coffee. The Pancakes where some of the best I have ever tried! 🔥🥳🙌🏻
Had a great Coffee and cake outside on rear open terrace! Great Atmosphere and great service.

Every drink has been perfected - beautiful espresso-based drinks (beautifully balanced shots, perfectly textured milk), the best hot-chocolates and wonderful Turkish coffee (a must-try)!

A bit small, but like a proper Italian own shop it should be small :) you come - enjoy - and go :)

The Hairy B has moved. Even better place. Lovely outdoor space, kids play area, swings in the window..Lovely coffee the best in Totnes alongside the Curator. Enjoy the falafel and love the Halva croissant. Always feel life is a little sunnier when I leave the Hairy Barista.
I would have loved to pack this café into my suitcase and take it with me. But I will definitely keep it in my heart. Wonderful coffee shop with amazing gluten free options. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely put this gem on your list of places to go in Totnes.
Totnes is lucky to have such an amazing, forward thinking, community based cafe with VERY delicious plant based food and amazing staff. All round vibes are so special, you would think you’re in a cool cafe in Bali or Ibiza.
They are constantly improving and adapting to their new beautiful space

This is a cafe worth visiting - the food was all delicious, the coffee was divine, but above all else, the service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly, helpful and genuinely seemed happy to be there. It shouldn’t be hard to find a cafe this good, but it is!
Really great coffee spot loved the courtyard and kids play room. The cakes are refined sugar free and taste incredible. Coffee for me is key and this place did it well. Made better by a content two year old in a treasure trove of toys which kept other people happy the little ones were entertained.
