Had a lovely welcome and super Sunday lunch here (Harberton) 19/2/23. We hadn't pre-booked but would recommend doing so. My father was born a few doors away at Rose Cottage.

We went back after being invited by friends who live locally. Was impressed the first time and was nice to go back. Food is really good and the owner makes some time to speak to you which is lovely. Can't wait to see them again and what a traditional cosy pub with good food. Good service what more could you want.

This is a charming, lovely old historic pub with great food and beers and a warm welcome. (Just don't follow your Satnav to get there, as it will send you through a nerve-wrackingly narrow gap between the inn and an old stone wall. There are two other ways in). Highly recommended! A really wonderful place.

Don't tell my Mum, but that was probably the best roast dinner I've ever had. Certainly the best in the Totnes area. Beef and Pork that almost melted in the mouth, veg cooked just right, a proper home-made Yorshire and the treacle tart for pudding was light, not claggy, wonderful pastry. If the other items on the menu are as good as this, this place is a proper find. Lovely old pub, good service. Jef Pirie

A wonderful historic inn Lovely atmosphere, wood fires with the most friendly and welcoming landlady. Good range of ales and some fine wines too! Great place for Sunday lunch after a walk around Harberton.

It’s been a while since we've visited the Church House Inn, so decided to go for a meal last Saturday night and they didn't disappoint, the food was superb, the service was perfect and there was a relaxed ambience inside, clearly, they care about the quality of the food they serve and the comfort of their dining guests, it was refreshing to go somewhere that was more interested in value than shoehorning diners into every available space. If you're looking for good quality food served in a stress-free environment please visit this pub, we are certainly going back.

Lovely place! We had a really nice meal here on a Friday night, we were staying nearby in a different village for a weekend away and felt we picked a good spot. The fish and chips were yummy. The parking was a little tricky but it was a Friday night and we found a spot fairly easily.

First visit but not the last very old pub 12th century . Food was excellent all freshly cooked we sat outside but the inside is fabulous really old panelling large fireplace at the end of the room a must for history buffs .the village is very pretty very narrow road to get to the pub Couldn't see disabled access but everything else definitely worth 5 star

Lovely old inn serving good food and with a couple of guest bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quaint charm rather than luxury, but the rooms are very acceptable if a little small. Narrow, windy and hilly access via car. Right next to the church and old church house. Lovely location for walking and sightseeing. Fabulous cooked breakfast and a mine of local information from the host.
