Popped in for a cream tea but they don't do them anymore.
Cheesy chips were very nice though.
Drinks were good too.
Lovely spot in the summer when the weather is good.

My wife and I eat at The Waterfront 6:to 8 times a year. Given we have to travel from the mainland to the Isle of Wight to be able to do so, means this is one of our favourite restaurants on the island.

We came down for dinner when staying at the Sentry Mead nearby and it's an easy walk. The restaurant is right on the waterfront (as the name suggests!) so beautiful views. Food was great and service friendly

Sea bass was fried beautifully and risotto was cooked to perfection. It has been a long time since I had such a delicious risotto.

Definitely the best fish and chips ever, fish cooked perfectly without the usual oiliness from a lot of chippies. Chips fluffy inside and crispy outside. Calamari had a delicate crumb and was super tender. Home made tartare sauce just added the final touch. Our dogs were allowed which is great. The
Delicious seafood in a beautiful setting with a view of the ocean and hurst castle from our table. Managed our party of 10 admirably. Great menu for kids too with plenty of options. Really kind staff that went the extra mile, even posting a jacket back to us that was left behind! We’ll be back!
Amazing food using local produce. Lovely venue and well position by the sea. Can highly recommended. The staff were wonderful too. We went on Friday and back again today as we loved it so much. Well worth booking ahead so you are not disappointed.
We had to pre book as it was very busy as its very close to the needles approx 5-10 mins. Staff very helpful and attentive, quick service. My friend had the mussels, which was on the specials menu, they were huge and plentiful. Great view over the water. Lovely sunset views.
Sunday morning hot chocolate and lovely atmosphere with amazing views
Food was really nice, good choice of beers and the location down by the water is hard to beat. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is it would be nice to see bottles of condiments provided rather than sachets.
A chance visit at 4pm with the intention of having a drink. Only seating outside was available or at barrels in the bar. We enquired about a meal, they were fully booked but offered us a table for 5pm provided we could vacate by 7pm this was ideal added to which we where then allowed to use the tabl
