Lovely Sunday lunch in a country pub. Atmosphere was great with the fire alight. Menu was small but done well!

What a great find....lovely pub stopover in the camper in car park, lovely people, very friendly and welcoming - staff and customers. Great meals, standard pricing around £10/13 a head, very decent portions. Camembert cheese starter, ploughman's and a triple burger were wonderful. A little disappointed with choc crunch on special board as not chocolatey or crunchy but overall a fab place to stay for meal and drinks. We'd visit again!!

Had a lovely evening at the Gardeners Arms this weekend, first time we have been there since the new owners took over. We were very impressed with the food it was hot, well presented and a pleasure to eat. The cheesecake was fabulous. The new owners are lovely and service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be going back soon.

What a fabulous traditional pub this is right in the heart of a lovely small village with two sizable greens. The pub has plenty of parking and an abundance of outside space for those sunshine filled days. The owners are polite, respectful courteous and warm hearted and make everyone who visits feel welcome. The pub is clean, fresh and cosy with an open fire. A great selection of drinks and the food is sooo tasty. If you're passing by the area this is a must visit. Dogs are also welcomed here, with water, dog meals and treats too. Well done to you and your team.

Last minute booking which the pub was happy to accommodate. We had a roast dinner. Mix of the roast beef which was beautifully pink and chicken. Lots of lovely crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of veg

Lovely setting. We cycled there for Sunday roast. It was recommended to us and we were satisfied. Not 5 star but definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic staff, they were all warm and welcoming and the landlord greets you like an old friend. The food, roast dinner for us today, was delicious, home cooking at its best! Plates piled high with glorious huge Yorkshire puds, roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, roast pork chicken, beef and stuffing, topped by a delicious rich gravy. Sublime! Simply the best roast dinner lve ever had cooked for me!! We will definately be going back for seconds! Well done!!
