Historical hotel with outstanding restaurant. Food is really good with astonishing atmosphere. Just a bit disappointed with the dessert, it is ok, but not above average.
Attended a class reunion and twenty four of us enjoyed a three course meal in the Victoria room. No complaints from anyone, the food was excellent, and the staff without exception all friendly and accommodating. No long waits for any of the courses. The restaurant’s environment is very comfortable and relaxing.
Lovely setting food is good cream tea not worth the money but your paying for the beautiful building and garden spa is amazing and very relaxing. Good value also

Excellent food whilst staying here last summer. We did not have lunch on any day, but both breakfast and dinner were top class.
