We were travelling through the Scottish Highlands in June and wanted to treat ourselves on our last eve there. The 1887 is an absolute excellent restaurant experience. Starting with the stunning location the 1887 will not let you down. Most of the food is sourced from their own garden and livestock. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and deliver high service.

The best food we had on the NC500 route. Some of the waiters and waitresses were a little inexperienced but was made up for with enthusiasm and friendliness.
