The food was outstanding! We had the chicken chat, aloo potatoes and a main and everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely the place in torquay you should eat at if you dont want another chain place.

Lovely waiting area with a couple of couches and magazines for your perusal. Really friendly and helpful staff who were knowledgeable about the menu dishes
I arrived just after 7pm on a Saturday night and waited just over 10 minutes for my food to be freshly prepared.
I ordered the set menu for one with chicken dansak which cost £9.50.
Arrived home and decanted the meal from the paper bag and aluminium containers so a big well done with the green credentials!
The food was excellent - probably the best dansak I have tasted this side of the Black Country.
The rice was succulent and the mint sauce was exceptional and really refreshing.
The pompadom was crispy without being greasy and the onion bhaji delicious especially when dipped in the Bombay potatoes sauce.
I would recommend this Indian takeaway as one of the best in Devon.
It also has a 5 star hygiene rating .

Always a great curry from Green Chillies. Wished they still did chapattis
I was going to write a bad review but they redeemed themselves by their excellent curry dishes. Unfortunately, delivery was very slow and the driver was unapologetic which I found very rude.
It was the first time we ordered from Green Chilies but the bad reviews, particularly the slow service, make us nervous to buy from them again. Its a shame as the food was delicious 😋
Intense, flavourful curries. The naans aren't great, neither are the chips (a personal fav to have curry and chips!) But the wide variety of delicious dishes make us come back again and again and again.The sheek kebab is THE best in Torquay, also the indulgent creamy saag paneer. Fantastic mains, but they could be a little better with the side dishes; naans/rice, it tastes like premade. I love bubbly, crispy, garlic naan and they're very bready and heavy.
Yes Yes Yes Balti is lush at busy times you need to give an hour on delivery but worth the wait always arrives at Reeves Road Hot reasonably priced could do with more offers but by far best Indian take away in town fact!
The whole meal was fantastic, would highly recommend ordering from here if you like good British Indian restaurant curry. Keema rice was spot on, my Madras was excellent and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The sag paneer was lovely. Everything was piping hot when it got to the door. Excellent food keep it up.
Ordered a take away here for a dozen people. An excellent service. Arrived when they said. There were lots of different orders and no mistakes they also added additional poppadoms and naan on the house. The food was authentic and delicious. Still hot as well and very reasonably priced.
Would recommend this place for anyone visiting Torquay and after a takeaway.

Anytime we want Indian food we always use Green Chillies. The food is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The service is efficient, but remember Friday and Saturday is very busy, for this reason we call the order in and collect the order ourselves. Highly recommended.
One of the best Indian food takeaways in Torquay. Always had great quality food with good portion sizes. Sometimes the wait can be a while but it's definitely worth it. You can order online too!

I lived in Manchester for 25 years and regularly went to the 'curry-mile' at Rusholme. The food from Green Chillies just delivered tonight was as good as any take-away from the curry capital of the North-West. So glad we found this take-away. I imagined that finding a good curry would be one regret when we moved here. But I needn't have worried - great food here! We have used green chillies for 4 years now, and almost every meal has been outstanding! Thanks Green Chillies - and keep on cooking like this.
This curry is amazing it is take away only. The naan bread is real thick cooked to perfection. The Currys themself are fantastic spot on

On website said 50 mins delivery, when I placed order was 1 hour quoted. Pleasantly surprised it came 25 minutes early. Piping hot. Fluffy huge naan breads, chicken tikka starter tasty, and the best butter chicken I've had in torquay. Will definitely be ordering again
Best curry in the whole area. Fresh ingredients, brilliant chefs. Been going here for years and never had a bad meal. Excellent value, brilliant food.
