Fast service from staff who were so welcoming and helpful, beautiful views over the harbourside, delicious food in large portions and excellent value for money, amazing atmosphere and my fabourite beer which I've only ever tasted in Spain and not since 2019 so a wonderful surprise. If you want somewhere to have a decent pint and meal that's not overly loud or boisterous like other places then I urge you to visit Shiraz :)
Came here on a solo visit and what a location. Beautiful spot to watch the world go by. Staff are friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced drinks too. Stayed here all day and didn't feel out of place. Didn't eat, but what food I saw looked amazing.
Ordered large English breakfast just to try it out. No customers outside and only one inside at 930 am Sunday morning. Although it was typical and nothing noteworthy it still hit the spot. Two breakfasts and two coffees for 19 quid. View of the harbour, prompt wait staff. Not fine dining, the dining was fine.
Loved this place. Owner was amazing to us. We loved the food. Really a little gem of a place. We will definitely go back when we visit Torquay again one day. Thanks to the owner for making it a great visit. Jo
Second time of visiting had prawn sandwich full to the sides with prawns served with chips and side salad worth every penny.

Not been in such a clean welcoming restaurant for a long time, my favourite place for a coffee., try food later.
Came here prior to wrexham /torquay game .It was expectionally busy ,but staff found chairs for us ,only 2 bar staff on so very long queues for drinks ,breakfast was reasonably priced and excellent ....there was a wonderful atmosphere and enjoyed a few hours here in the sun .
Nice food and staff, good value and homemade
We were very pleased with the food and the service.
We visited Torquay as it was my Birthday and popped in here for a spot of lunch. We ordered 2 Lasagnes which came with a side salad and garlic bread, we also ordered 1 side of chips. Well we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely visit again.
