Visiting friends in Torquay and they were recommended to go here, warm welcome on arrived even thou we were running late, excellent waitress , great choice on the menu (highly recommend the chicken on the rotisserie) and really good value for money, I myself would highly recommend going here, great surroundings and a clean and tidy restaurant
Great food, service and value for money.
We went in a particularly busy evening but luckily had booked a table. Our waitress, Christina, was friendly and welcoming.
Our drinks were delivered to our table quickly and even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait too long for our food.
We took advantage of the Two steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 which is a great deal. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.
The staff (young man with blue hair red bandana, sorry I forgot your name) were fantastic. Was a young girls birthday on a table next to us an he went out of his way to make her night. An also kept all the other tables he was waiting all happy an there needs well met. I’m fussy an he advised well. The food was lovely. Much better than u expect from a family harvest style restaurant. I recently ate at a place in Exeter with high reviews an rate your venue much higher. Wednesday is mine an the husbands date night, this was the first time we have visited and will definitely be back again for another date here. Thank you.
I have been going regularly on Mondays with my daughter for regular lunch date. ...decided to take my partner for Sunday lunch it was his first time there . On arrival he didn't seem overly impressed and had convinced himself that it probably wouldn't be anything special .....out came a massive plateful of food....One of the best roasts we have had in a long while....The buttered kale was phenomenal in taste I could have eaten a plateful of it....The other half was equally impressed and couldn't finish the whole plate....We will be back regularly....keep up the great work guys and gals

Had fantastic food, the service was excellent, Reece who was our waiter looked after us and made our day out enjoyable. I visit the wighton often I even had my 60th birthday meal there, I have always been treated with the upmost respect by all the staff. X
Lovely young lad served us. Had a meal off the £6 menu expecting a small plate. Was full size & very nice too
I had half the chicken yesterday as I thought it is their speciality. I am not normally a big fan of roast chicken because I don't like dry meat. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken I had was cooked beautifully, succulent with a lovely sauce. The only criticism is I would like more of the Asian slaw, it was a delicious side. I would definitely visit Wighton again.
Great pub on the edge of Torquay. Lovely low lighting and well laid out with tucked away romantic seating area. Food looks lush and a good selection on the menu. Great selection of drinks and bar kept immaculate. Staff show a lot of attention to their customers and understand every customer. Massive car park with an electric car hook up point at the end. 50kw so quite quick (Not part of the pub). Nice seating area outside with overhead heaters for the winter. Always a table available…👍
Very friendly service excellent staff did not have to wait too long after ordering our meals hot and very well presented . Wide choice on the menu, and they ask if you have any dietary requirements. First, class would highly recommend a visit
We were greeted on arrival by a friendly staff member, shown to our table and a drinks order was taken almost immediately. One of the drinks wasn’t quite right (wrong colour wine) but this was very quickly put right, no problem. Our food came quite quickly and was delicious, various different meals enjoyed by our five member party. The experience was as good as we could have wished.
Lovely warm welcome from the lady on the bar (I believe she may be the manager?). All staff lovely, efficient and polite. Very attentive without being intrusive. Top marks. The pub itself is very pleasant and excellently decorated. Would definitely return.
Perfect family meal. Steak was beautiful. Atmosphere really nice not loud and very clean. Never been here before but will now be a must again when we're down in holiday.
A lovely experince from start to finish. We were given a warm greeting and the menus were well explained to us, we were a large group! Drinks and food orders were taken promptly, but without rushing us. The food was lovely, very tasty and the right portion size. All the staff were really nice and friendly.
Overall a very nice experience, nothing was too much problem.
Really nice pub with lovely decor, delicious food and welcoming staff. Loved the fact that they welcome dogs too, as they have a little table all set up with treats, doc bowls and blankets.
The waiting staff were very friendly and provided a good service.
It was nice to go somewhere where the staff had smiles on their faces and were engaging.
Food was good and very tasty.
We are local and enjoy popping in from time to time. The refurbishment is very good to and seating is very comfortable. Its very well layed out.

Staff are always polite and friendly. Service is very good. Nice atmosphere. Food was amazing and served nice and hot and freshly cooked. I had scampi which was served with a nice homemade tartar sauce and plenty of it. Will be visiting again soon
